it seems you guys like to punish the best for being the best. how is that so? why should i still pay for something i upgraded to max?


Just because you upgraded it doesn't mean you own it, upgrading makes the bonus you get much larger, nothing else. The massive bonus associated with these relics should come with a hefty price tag also..

And you think that a relative PITTANCE (compared to the income that FFS generates) justifies the overwhelming bonus that you get for weeks on end ?

ok then, lets hope we have to pay extra for having the items upgraded to max. lets hope we are still charged for something we upgraded to max. FFS or any other guild should pay extra gold/FSP withdrawed from their bank just because they have full guild members, hell, HCS, make something so that we pay extra for having something at maximum.

No one relic should grant bonuses to more than 3 stats.

Really, not more than 2.

Or at least force guilds to empower ONE stat and ONE gain per relic, instead of getting all of them in one shot.

Plenty of players in my level range for pvp and gvg have far better stats for PVP purposes than I do - yet my gear is fully forged and perfect, and theirs is often random craft and unforged; the only difference is they are simply a member of a guild with the ability to afford empowering relics on a constant basis.

It should require at least some effort to make yourself a PvP god. Right now, it really doesn't. I could be the equivalent of a level 600 player stat wise if I joined PANIC, TEW, FFS, TED, or AL. Absolutely nothing would change but my guild tag...

Way to go completely off subject. Relics aren't personal property and as such all of your references are completely pointless? Think of them more like guild structures. You pay to upgrade them right? Are they completely free then afterwards??

Let me reiterate my suggestion(s)...

1. Have the bonuses ONLY apply to hunting, nothing more.

2. Reduce ALL relics to a maximum of TWO stats.

3. Split off Stam/XP/Gold gain bonuses from Hunting bonuses

4. Relics, in addtion to a (voluntary) empowerment fee also have an upkeep fee, dependant upon level of defenders and number of defenders.

Relics should apply to PvP and GvG. Several guilds hold relics solely for that purpose.

They shouldn't give bonuses to every single stat, though.

I like whoopin players who happen to have 2 or 3 relics :twisted: Makes me feel all fuzzy inside... but yes it is ridiculous.... I mean before WK I rarely ever had the use of a empowered relic, I can only imagine what devastation I could do with 3? I like the challenge of going against them... BUT they should try and fix the system... narrow it down to only 2 empowered relics? or heck even 1? Theres no need for a guild to have maxed empowered relics... now its basically because they " can" . Theres tonnes of relics at EOC and only few players... which means not many can go after them...or would even bother trying.

Luxuries like relics should cost Luxury prices.

Yes! Relics have made the game FAR TOO EASY. It was insanely overpowered at 60% and is still insanely overpowered even at 20%. It was a compromise by the devs and a bad one at that...

But hey they cater to what brings in more donations, period! So...

I've asked many times why the costs to empower are the same no matter the size of the guild? It makes no sense that it should be this way. There are more players rewarded and therefore should reflect the cost to empower, like mercs!

Meh just make their Empower level reset once a week.
If they really want the bonus they'd pay for it and what a Gold Sink it would be :P

I agree that anything Stam/Xp gain related should not be on the same as those with Att/Def/Dam/Arm.
I also think that neither Att and Dam should be together and that Def and Arm shouldn't be together.

Also think that only 2 Stats per Relic should be allowed.
Not including the Enhancements(Holy, Sustain, etc) as they just ain't Gamebreaking.

Agree with Luis also, more Members = More Gold to Enhance.

Diasgree, because that would still allow you to get every stat from a single relic.

There needs to be a choice made between holding 3 relics less strongly, but having the bonuses for 6 stats (or 2x the same stat) or holding 1 extremely safely but only having a couple of stats boosted.

This is particularly true of the easy to hold E.o.C. relics, which have all stats but basically aren't ever captured, despite no defenders.
