I just want to know if people usually raise base stats. Most of the players put 2 points in Damage and I think only 1% of players raise base maximum HP. Some would choose Armor over HP.

But I am opening a new poll. So I can learn what percentage of players raise only damage.

For me, I always raise 1 HP and 1 damage per level. I stopped raising attack, defense and armor at 10.
Vote a poll here! If you put 2 points in a particular stat, check only one. If you put 1 point in two stats per level, check two options.

Unless you are pure PvP(Which would mean no leveling up at all or in this means none past say 200) then you put all in Damage.

If you're a leveler, you'll want every damage point you can get later on in your FS career. ;)

I plan on becoming the first player to reach a base HP of 1000. Once I achieve 1000 HP, I will put 2 in damage. Since I chose to raise 1 HP and 1 damage, I will reach 1000 HP at level 996.

That is IF he/she puts 2 in HP. But he/she clearly says that he/she puts 1 in damage, and the other in HP.

Anyways, I would put all the points in damage if you plan to only level.

All in armor except for a 100 in HP. At some point I'm going to change it to all attack.

all damage everytime

No offense intended, but spoken like a pure leveler at 300+ levels in 3 months. lol

All in defense!

This is the biggest fallacy I've ever read about level up points in FS! Defense is the easiest stat to beat because of the uber-powerful DC buff and KE.

In my opinion the key is to decide what style of play you enjoy and design your character's level up points based on that. This allows a player to take advantage of 'Base' buffs. At 2 points per level it doesn't seem like much but after 100s of levels you start to notice a difference. And now skill points are only available after level up points have been allocated.

For levelers it's simple, all damage. All you are fighting are the stats of a mob. More damage = more 1 hitting = less stam used.

PvPers have more decisions. Unless the opponent is offline or doesn't 'fight' back the opponent can vary in skill, buffs(which effects stats via level up points), and gear. This is the purest form of PvP and done on the Bounty Board, also known as "Dancing" by some. :)

There are many approaches or styles of play in PvP regarding how to apply level up points. Some enjoy the added benefit of extra points in attack using 'base' buffs like Rage and Fury. Extra points in defense and armor can also enhance a player's stats through 'base' buffs like AoP, Fortify, Evade, and Rockskin. So the number of points in each stat for PvPers is really an individual choice as I see it. There's no right or wrong really.

HP FTW!

A sarcastic pov but for PvPing HP coupled with armor from high defense suits with the fortitude buff can be tough to beat... And for levelers seeking every ounce of damage think about defense with Fortitude and Chi Strike.

I'm actually thinking of swapping my level up points to a different stat once my damage reaches the big 2k. Was actually half serious when I said HP, it does afterall have a headstart on the other stats ;)

Attack 1
Defense 1
Armor 1
Damage 1,845
HP 5

Just so we are clear. lol

about 66% attack/33% damage ;) mixed with KE and some item sets... along with rage and fury...makes killin defense nice and easy ( whether attacking OR defending) PLus NMV is much more useful if I use it

at first i used to do 1 point attack for every 2 points in damage, right now i have 900 base damage and 500 base attack, and finding attack is still a very handy base stat to have, for leveling, pvp, SE's titans, and all other aspects of the game.

i find that most levels that i can't 1 hit i am missing by several thousand, also find that with using rage and fury compounded with KE and DC i have enough extra attack i can usually use a NMV buff and get the defense i need on most 2 hit and 1 hit levels. sometimes use the NMV 80 pot, my nmv 120, or sometimes a nmv 175, depending on my extra attack, and many times when using an epic i can hunt without using a set if it can get me more around damage.

HP is suddenly a viable second option behind damage as with the new changes to the SSI, so i wouldn't toss that option out the window, or call it a bad move at all. with other buffs and the new armor pots, armor + HP is tougher to beat than defense suits, and finding high HP in equipment of any level is no easy task.

but as stated prior it is really a matter of what you plan on doing within the game, and your character. unfortunatly with some more not so recent updates, it is now much more expensive (175 FSP) to reset your level up points, so planning ahead could save you quite a bit of $$ so choose wisely when dedicating your level up points..
