My point was about gameplay and the fact that these items aren't honestly necessary to level. That you seemed a bit miffed by my suggestions that they forego buying that crap and do it in a more cost efficient way speaks volumes. And with regards to sticking to an area of the game in which I knew something about, I am 25% shy of having my gold medal for titan hunting and I run rings around all but a few there. Titan Inc beat you, TEG beat you and believe me, the name Stronghold is going to rapidly become your next nightmare, thats a promise

Obtaining an Epic through TKP is by no means cost-efficient, otherwise Titans Inc would not have broken apart ;) And FFS would still hunt all Titans and not the ones we choose to :) I am not going to argue if the new Epic is any good or what advantages it can give, it really speaks of itself. Oh and , trust me, i have no nightmares, just camp fire stories of wannabe champions of the past ;)

lol, wannabe champions of the past. Max one on one I would tear you a new arse. Titan Inc sold drops far below the prices FFS sells for, TEG did much the same. It is a simple feat to stand as a member of an elite guild crammed full of the best of everything and talk smack. It's quite another to man up and do it on your own. And a little FYI, the other founder quit the game in disgust over all the changes. Alot of the other titan hunters that were recruited bailed because they wanted the easy win and felt it no longer possible. I take a loss every time I sell an item but one thing I can say, I really didn't mind as it had an impact upon the prices. This can be reflected through looking at how much those silly drops are going for now straight from your guild. people are awakening and understanding that if they won't pay it, the prices will come down. Lacking the fsp from those sales, the machine grinds to a halt. Not buying in effect pulls the cord

oh come on, guys, we are talking about the arena, it's a place where people win tournaments hundreds lvls higher than their lvls, they beat advantage of thousands points... attack stat can be nullified, and armor stat is not damage ;)

Not all the cogs in "the machine" are in it for profit.

Of course you would, thats no feat, i am across the world away from the servers :) Titans are a guild feature luckily though and efforts of a good team overcome the ones of the individual. Prices of the items reflect the effort and stamina spent, both buyers and sellers are reasonable about the market value, hence the Titan drops still sell at about the same prices they have been before TKP and well before the few Titans Inc wins. There will be a day when Titans will no longer yield any profits, and thats when we will simply leave them to others to hunt, just like Colossus and Tsuki. The 'machine' will be fine whatever happens, Titans or no Titans.

Steve, I do know that. You and many of those who are closest to you are nothing like that. You have earned my respect over time and I would never utter a negative word about you or those of whom you speak.

And to get back on topic, should we be expecting any sort of continuation to the quests? I loved the storyline :D

My thoughts on the machine is that you are spread kind of thin. You are predominantly a leveling guild. If you concentrate on titans, and fail to win the drops due to excessive competition, then you will leave them alone. If TEW, Panic, or any other high ranking guild begins messing with your relics, and challenging you on every front, then you will by necessity withdrawl and concentrate on holding that #1 spot instead. I encourage those guilds to do their part. You cannot fight a battle effectively on multiple fronts. History reflects as much. perhaps if the other guilds mentioned are willing, FFS can be sent back to school to learn that lesson.

LOL doug, where is all this negativity coming from towards us?? and btw we can and have dealt with multiple threats at the same time, this game is a lot of planning coordination, and activity which we have a lot of each (altho titans have been pretty lackadaisical recently)

It will create Havoc among those levels available that allow Epics.

Either get it and have a toss-up or stay away from the Epic tournaments.

Epics always broke the Arena, they created Epic only Tournaments, problem solved, this problem was solved before it came into been.
If the Titans hadn't been changed and FFS was dominating it then it would have been problem but they did get changed so that problem was also solved before it happened.

After reading through this quests text I have noticed a few things. Right before these quests were released the ring shop was released in COW. In the description they said " the sisterhood of ways wishes to bring you some joy before the dark times to come" or something like that.....

In the quest Spirit Storm the villagers had a "Priest of the Ways" come and bless their shrine. And at the end of sea hunter quest the Sathkrin says "Be careful. Watch your path, I fear it will only become darker with her (Thalmar's) shadow falling over it."

Also when the shop first came out people asked BigGrim if the content (the newest quests in this chain) that would be released later that day was "the darkness to come". To this BigGrim said it wasn't. It would seem that this ending is a foreshadowing to a line of quests to come.

Spread thin? What gave you that impression? We are a group of players with varied interests in the game and ambition-and resources- to do well. We used to be a leveling guild 1 year ago ,we focused on Titans since they helped our guild grow stronger and we will still do until that is happening.

If competition stops us from winning Titans, or having relics or catch up with our leveling pace, so be it, we will try to adapt and overcome it just like any other guild would do :) If you believe we should be sent back to school, well, keep doing that 8)

I am very curious if any other guild wins a Squiddy after a week of strong competition and TKP farming, how much they will be pricing it . Because undercutting us by 100 FSP is not a revolution in Titan prices, its hypocrisy and greed  Good luck with the Stronghold Inc project nontheless..

This quest was garbage. Who ever coded it or whatever did a shitty job. All the other plague mist quest are horrible, you guys need a new coding team... one that actually thinks and takes the time to do the stupid crap they implement.

You DO know that this is only a game, right? And not a life and death situation...your posts gives absolutely no feedback besides "omg, this sux0rs". Try stating reasons, and not just whine...

That being said, I haven't done the quest yet, so I can't give feedback on that, but the level 60 epic seems WAY overpowered...Maybe cut the stats in half?

ok, probably not...

Ok, take a deep breath, sit back and remember no ine is forcing you to do the quests..

some of us that did, appreciated the good story, the good quality art and the challenge/satisfaction because of the difficulty. The quest drop is not proportionate to the effort but..so what? Its OPTIONAL

Actually, I found this to be one of the most entertaining & best-written quest-chains in the game.
It's a huge step up from 'kill X monsters'

 Just don't post anything else if your going to post things like this.
This is for feedback.
You may wanna say what you didn't like... What you would like to be changed... etc.

I actually liked the quest even if they were hard.
I REALLY hope the storyline will continue!

my biggest problem with these quests... realistically, how can a LV60 person complete all of these quests? my reasoning:

A: They need more than 3 bkpk spaces to get it done in any good amount of time

B: The drop rate sucks, i personally used like 6k stam to get through to the Kraken

C: How can they afford buying FI potions? they're like 65k-100k and with LV50-100 being PvP Range Ultima...they can't hold THAT much gold w/o inciting a 100-stam hit

That's what I was trying to say in other thread, there is a problem with determining the level of challenge for new things in this game. How to make something challenging and interesting for guilds like FFS and realistic for LV60 at the same time? One way is to add more penalties for being big which is not fair, and other is to base everything (quests, Titan hunting, pvp) on items levels like in the arena. The guild should have items for all levels, not just recruit higher level players and provide gear only starting from some 400+ lvls..
