I get bored a lot and like to look for guilds to offer experiences and assistance to and there are obviously a ton of crashed and burned guilds with level 5 inactives. I would like to see HCS "weed out" these guilds, and the terminated players within them.

Now on the flip side, there are terminated players in some guilds that I am honored to still see their names, but on the guild A-Z list, there is so much wasted space.

It's seems like the cows would want to free up some server memory.

FS world.... Some feedback would be good. And cross our fingers that the cows join in.

These players are currently inactive- there are plenty that do take up the game again after a long absence.

I agree but don't you think the guild could be eliminated, not the player. I don't want any player on extended leave to be terminated, but the guild full of 3 inactives with no gold in the bank and structures have crashed. If they were good players, I'm sure they have a place with their friends. You can obviously tell the difference between guilds that built up and then crashed from the guild new players who just started it because they had no clue what to do then quit. It's not about getting rid of players, but dead guilds. It would save time in pvp ang gvg aspects and give smaller guilds a chance to join forces and become stronger without having to go through thousands of pages of dead guilds.

No, Phools Paradise and its member must never be deleted. It's an example of self respect, and that disrespect towards players should not be tolerated. As for terminated players, some of them died in real life and they were terminated because some idiots were hitting them (one guild will never be forgotten for doing it).

So who decides which aren't ever coming back & should be removed from game & which might be coming back & shouldn't?

& in response to the OP- So you think these players should be welcomed back to the game with the news that their guild that they put time & money into has been removed?

if it's a dead guild with no upgrades yes.

Phool's guild should NEVER be taken out, but he had upgrades. A look into it by the cows would easily show that.

Why not just make the "A-Z" list searchable and orderable (by level for example)? Similar to the Quest Book.

great point, but as I said before, I have taxes (yes, I tax myself), advisor, and about 600 more in upgrades so far, the cows could see that and it would show that I am not just some guy who spent 10 fsp to say I'm a guild founder.

There are ACTIVE guilds out there who constantly ask higher levels how to build a guild, apparently 1 in 20 phale on keeping a guild alive. Then they quit it leaving a level 5 inactive, most likely a multi, and it takes up space. Look for yourself at some of the names of guilds and tell me it's not just a place to store a multi to look less suspicious. It's a waste in SOME cases, not all.

this keep getting brought up your guild won't get deleted if you go inactive or get terminated

it gets brought up because it concerns people. So if I were you, I would do as asked and post an opinion, not just take up space to get your name seen again.

Drama.

Sorry, but your opinion really doesn't matter in this situation. No ones does, because the cows have already made a ruling.

Wish they would stay consistent though, they have no problem terminating old accounts and guilds in SS2....

I wish more people would be part of the solution, not the problem.

Perhaps we could get HCS to agree to let us flag guilds that are inactive and flag players that are suspected multis, much like we flag avatars for content. When abuse is confirmed, then one could get points towards a medal of some sort. If we got results and credit for hunting down multis and abuse, then we would see more people take an active role in policing this instead of submitting tickets. Low priority tickets = annoyance

Additionally, if anyone was seen abusing the flag system as a reporter, then they could be terminated as well. Win-win on reducing the riff raff.

I suggest this, of course, as there are those that run out of stamina and seem to have exhausted their ambition in other aspects of the game. Plus, people love those medals. :)

While I'm not for deleting Guilds(Unless all the players are actually Terminated/Banned)
They could make the Guild be hidden after all Members are inactive for 30 Days+, just hide it on the A-Z List.

Yeah, one that has been suggested many times and is soooo freaking simple, I can't see why it's not already like that.

Rather than deleting them, why not make the A-Z list only show guilds with a member active in the last 30 days?

Edit: See what I get for not reading past the first page?
