NO, Policing of the game has already hurt it enough as it is.Perhaps we could get HCS to agree to let us flag guilds that are inactive and flag players that are suspected multis, much like we flag avatars for content. When abuse is confirmed, then one could get points towards a medal of some sort. If we got results and credit for hunting down multis and abuse, then we would see more people take an active role in policing this instead of submitting tickets. Low priority tickets = annoyance
Additionally, if anyone was seen abusing the flag system as a reporter, then they could be terminated as well. Win-win on reducing the riff raff.
I suggest this, of course, as there are those that run out of stamina and seem to have exhausted their ambition in other aspects of the game. Plus, people love those medals.

While I'm not for deleting Guilds(Unless all the players are actually Terminated/Banned)
They could make the Guild be hidden after all Members are inactive for 30 Days+, just hide it on the A-Z List.
+! excellent and elegant solution.

Medal for policing? Naww, thats HCS' job to do, I am here to play the game, not to see that others cannot..
Agreed. Plus, can you imagine all the spam reporting that would be done just so people could have the police medal? oye. HCS would be overrun with stupid reports. Talk about killing the game.....

It would be nice though if the Guild A-Z list filtered out guilds with no active members. I think that would get rid of a bulk of junk guilds

There's no reason to look through EVERY guild created since most on that list were created by people who had no clue. If I'm not mistaken, creating a guild use to be free and even now. Ten FSP isn't a huge deterrent for creation of spam guilds. lol

Some may want to help a newbie guild, others may want to find a low key and chill guild, and maybe just something new.
There's no reason to look through EVERY guild created since most on that list were created by people who had no clue. . . .
I was looking more for what people here actually use the A-Z list for, not speculative uses.
That said, what would people think of adding guild creation notices to the home page, with the conflict notices, and maybe having a history of all those notices?
I .... don't see a point to that, and yes. I've 'tried' using to the A-Z list to find active guilds. But not very doing that, just 'EXTREMELY' tedious and time-consuming, considering there's a huge number of dead guilds with four-five level 20 or lower

Some might use them for GvG, just like the online players list, its all fine. Hide/delete/remove dead guilds (I also think inactive accounts below level (25?) should be deleted, but thats another thread.)

When I was a new player I couldn't find active guilds I wanted to join, I sorta stumbled in at the right time for a FSBox post, but it really would have been nice if the A-Z list wasn't filled with dead/inactive guilds.
...
Same here.
I remember when I was brand new... I had no clue what to look for, what structures were for, how to tell if it was a good guild or not. I looked through the guild A-Z and it just confused me. Luckily I recieved some invites, and found one I joined.
I think a search option with different criteria would be a great idea, especially if it had a note next to each thing, explaining for example what structures are good for etc. Number of structures, number of active players, highest/lowest player level, and why not a thing that lets each guild set a minimum requirement for applicants, so the ones where someone doesn't meet the requirements, the guild won't show in their search?
Might make it much less a hassle for everyone. <3

Why does that matter?

Why were you looking for active guilds? As GvG targets?
Ok, I'll bite - This is while I was guildless after 'FINALLY' leaving a long time guild of mine because it died, basically. I don't give a damn when it comes to it being a leveling or GvG guild. BUT, my options were limited to looking at either of those lists. Thanks to how cluttered that A-Z list is.
Have I ever used it to find GvG targets? Hell no, way too much damn effort and I'd rather look through the top richest, GvG, and leveling guild lists as well as at anyone on my attack players list who's guild fits my minimums for a good target. (3+ in my range, blah blah, etc)

Dude the second top one is dead basically, and a lot of others happen to be on the other two lists as well. Plus top player does not always mean a guild I'd like. Look at my level, I do not care about "top players" all that much. You have given no valid reason, aside from "you can look at top players' guilds" or "look at one of the top lists" ....
All I'm talking about is simply, a way to hide dead/inactive guilds easily so I, or others, can find guilds that aren't on them top lists. I see no reason whatsoever that this can be considered an unreasonable suggestion.
