Been thinking about reckoning a bit, it's still quite ambiguous while people are getting used to it and what it does and does not work with. Many thoughts are that it is a game breaking buff. Lets give it a little wihle till some people have tested it and can confirm how it works a bit better.
If there needs to be a tweak(i.e. it is overpowered), then reckoning should only work on chance buffs such as wither, shatter armor, spectral knight, spell breaker [heh heh], shock wave etc. It should not work on buffs which are constant[present] in each combat such as EW, EA, Constitution, Sanctuart, Dark Curse, Nightmare Visage, Flinch etc.
imo this would balance it out so it's not a game breaking potential win key, but still giving enough of an edge to still be useful.
If everyone has access to the same buffs, how would it be a win key?
I am not sure how this could be gamebreaking but I must admit I wouldn't be surprised to find that someone has developed a great use for it either. Hunters seem to have a LOT of buffs running - I use 18-20 but most seem to have many more than that - and that is a lot of buffs to randomly choose from.
AL/Lib/th/Merch/AM/Conserve/Const/Ea would all do something nice when doubled but not breaking, for example.
When EW1500 is doubled that would be useful but really only if you can predict it so that you could move from 2 hitting to 1 hitting. If you are already 1 hitting, then this would not be a good result to have doubled. Likewise for fury/dw/dc/dd if you are already 1 hitting.
Buffs like LF would have no effect on combat of course.
Wither 350 would be a great choice to have doubled as presumably that would move you from 2 hitting to 1 hitting.
In fact the one way I can see this as being broken is if you can make a buff set that includes only wither 350 and ew1500 - presuming that doubling either of those would allow you to 1 hit. That of course would require a gear set that 2 hits without any other buffs and it also means you lose XP and gold along the way. I look forward to seeing what people make of this one though
