Don't really see it as moaning to question why one of the most interactive HCS members (Grim) stated, clearly, that Resource Finder should not operate on plants - but now it does.

It's how I asked Hoofmaster to code it. He decided he liked the buff but that it should effect plants too.

grim please for the love of all things holy make a few decent inventable pots this will balance the market because it will give pot makers more choice more choice means less of each potion made so balance is made you guys made new pots that dont sell no offence ment but there crap and thats the truth 99% of the game will tell u that plus there in buff form alot higher so no one will make the pots ..the only potions that are sold now are bookworm fury and black death all the others are left cause there is no market if you was a store and something didnt sell u would stop stocking it and thats whats happening so please make new pots dont say you will look into it as last time it was said new pots was coming it took a year..

There isn't a seperate item category for plants - they are all 'resources'. We could look at adding a sub-category in the future however :)

yup... in one day... the cows killed the potion market, plant market, and the market of pretty much any item that can be farmed.

Could you give the buffs a chance? you guys are completely babies about this.

Maybe tweak the current inventable potions to make them more desirable? Annihilation at 200-250 instead of 150, Buffmaster at 200-250 instead of 25, lightfoot at 200-250 instead of 25

Been thinking about reckoning a bit, it's still quite ambiguous while people are getting used to it and what it does and does not work with. Many thoughts are that it is a game breaking buff. Lets give it a little wihle till some people have tested it and can confirm how it works a bit better.

If there needs to be a tweak(i.e. it is overpowered), then reckoning should only work on chance buffs such as wither, shatter armor, spectral knight, spell breaker [heh heh], shock wave etc. It should not work on buffs which are constant[present] in each combat such as EW, EA, Constitution, Sanctuart, Dark Curse, Nightmare Visage, Flinch etc.

imo this would balance it out so it's not a game breaking potential win key, but still giving enough of an edge to still be useful.

If everyone has access to the same buffs, how would it be a win key?

I am biased, but I dont think distraction is not useful. With a chance for double damage thats an instant one hit over 8% of the time. At the cost of 25% of your total gold.

Think about it logically, if you throw money at a creature to distract it, its not always going to work the way you want it to and you are still gonna lose your money. Yes its a slight drawback, but the benefits are worth it especially for SE, Titans, and LE's when your goal is not the gold but the items they drop and to conserve stamina to kill more.

It seems to me that it would be useful with the wither 350, DW, Sh Strike approach by making the 1 hit possibility even higher - even if it has no use other than that, and I suspect it is also good for other things like titans as well

first time i saw the post

awesome buffs, also agree witha lot of others dull edge would better if it worked PVP and it would see a lot more usefullness, not many people hunting with armor, but for pvp it would be great

Nice update,

I really going to like Demoralize and Sanctuary with my armor set-ups. I'm curious to know why sanctuary is a 800 skill and it's defensive counterpart is only 300.

Also, players buffing players with useless buffs when the that player has the Reckoning buff active... It's going to happen...

Situation
I'm going to hunt with only AL/Lib/Con/Doubler/SSI/Counter Attack/Reckoning.
Gets bombarded with level 26 buffs.

It's going to happen...

Yea that is an issue that needs to be addressed? Anyone have a good plan to fix it?

Well, anyone who thinks that this Reckoning skill is going to be an instant win for scavengers is mistaken. lol. This happened to me many many many times:

DaleJunior's reckoning has improved their skill 'Find Item'.
DaleJunior was infused with extra defense (Constitution).
DaleJunior hits Cave Goatman for 5735 damage.
DaleJunior was victorious!

Notice no drop because even with FI2000 that drop rate is so damn small it doesn't matter.

Basically instead of 2x the drop rate its 4x the drop rate. So your right, not much of a difference.

Call it herbs, PLANTS, or anything of that sort and seperate them, please. Much better for the game's health. :D

As others have said, new recipes that use more plants will stabilize the market. If they are desireable enough for people to make em and sell em.

I am not sure how this could be gamebreaking but I must admit I wouldn't be surprised to find that someone has developed a great use for it either. Hunters seem to have a LOT of buffs running - I use 18-20 but most seem to have many more than that - and that is a lot of buffs to randomly choose from.

AL/Lib/th/Merch/AM/Conserve/Const/Ea would all do something nice when doubled but not breaking, for example.

When EW1500 is doubled that would be useful but really only if you can predict it so that you could move from 2 hitting to 1 hitting. If you are already 1 hitting, then this would not be a good result to have doubled. Likewise for fury/dw/dc/dd if you are already 1 hitting.

Buffs like LF would have no effect on combat of course.

Wither 350 would be a great choice to have doubled as presumably that would move you from 2 hitting to 1 hitting.

In fact the one way I can see this as being broken is if you can make a buff set that includes only wither 350 and ew1500 - presuming that doubling either of those would allow you to 1 hit. That of course would require a gear set that 2 hits without any other buffs and it also means you lose XP and gold along the way. I look forward to seeing what people make of this one though :)

Wow a lot in this post. I 100% agree with it. I personally use Bookworm, Black Death, Fury, Greater Doubler (scavenging), enchanted armor (scavenging), Resillience (scavengings), and few AH Special pots to hunt.

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have a potion for light foot that is greater than 175, but not too high as to ruin the loyalty 1250 LF.

Dude, think about it .... could turn KE 175 into KE350.... or the same for DC. Suicide set-ups are EXTREMELY hard to beat as is, considering current buffs. This could greatly have hug PvP and GvG implications.
