Hoof ....Sacrifice need to be tweaked to 0.1% gold lost at most IMO or it will be useless buff


It's for people at the top of the scale who don't give a rat's arse about gold.

It's called sacrifice for a reason...

StangValle asked me to post the following for him.

Spell Leech is virtually useless. Anyone high enough level to cast Spell Leech will most likely be able to buff themselves with whatever buff they stole unless its a potion buff that was stolen. Does it de-activate the spell on the person attacked when it activates? A defensive form of Spell Breaker would have been much better.

Grimm told it would only work with quest ressources. But it's not written.
Hoof does it work with plants too?



how does it kill the plant market if it helps a farmer get more plants that can only be good for them they earn more


no... have you ever farmed plants?

more plants, and the less inventors will pay... when FI1000 was introduced it dropped jademare and shade price from 30-15k


yes i have a few times as i couldnt get jade farmers but plant prices dropped cause more ppl made pots that killed the pot market no one ever liked paying the price for jades as the extract rate sucked i been making pots since they was first let loose.
i used to pay 9-1 on jades i now pay 10-1 most days so prices havent changed much i already had farmers asking me if i have the buff as they know they will make more fsp from better chance of a drop

i also kinda expected some buffs to be mixed in at lower levels that are thin on buffs, like 600.

Leech should have been a level 500 ish buff, totally agree, cali.

Sacrifice +0.02% per point additional xp and -0.25% per point less gold for defeating creatures in combat.

so with dblr1200 and AL200 this skill will give me additional 40k xp?

Why would EoC ppl need more xp?...do they want to get bored faster?

And lower levels do have the right to decide if they want to Sacrifice their gold for xp, no?

trust me... it is simple supply and demand... the prices will drop, and your pot prices will drop... you might want to sell them quick.

Why is there buffs that we already have potions? Why not Dull edge pot (inventable) transfer so it works on PvP then??
Few weeks ago you input few pots with lvl 100 max, now you input buffs, twice as good then pots? I see no logic...
Is explanation about Distraction buff OK? you have 0.2 chance to get no gold, and then within you have 0.05 chance to get double damage? If it is like this, you can then pull out this buff...
We already have poison, tho different name "ignite"...
What about teleport?
I guess enchanted shield n gloves instead of rune... BUT where is logic to have EA n EW at low levels and this to 800+???
And like all PvP'ers already stated, fix pvp ladder first, those pvp ench. buffs are useless without fix (I thought you want to stop trading pvp points, but seems I misunderstood something...)

Top of the scale as in people who are power leveling, not necessarily just EOC people.

And of course lower level players have that right. It's still castable on other players.

Erosion is insane!

People are going to have to think twice about ever using Crystaline items for PvP now (unless they have UB200 running).

But I love the Buffs overall!! Nice Job!




Erosion will make playing / defending on the BB more fun :twisted:

lol, got a point there I guess.

Anyway, here's my first impressions.

Demoralize-nice counter to empower, but why does it only take affect if you initiated the combat? Would be nice if it worked in defense, too.

Poison-redundant, but could be useful anyway.

Iron fist-EPIC.

Spell Leech-a little confusing, but if it works how I think it does, then it will be a useful pvp buff.

Distraction-not very useful, imo, except against titans, SEs, elites and such, which aren't hunted for gold anyway.

Honor-don't see it being used much, since most pvpers don't care enough about their rating to buy a level 900 buff (if it was a lower level buff, then some people might use it for the heck of it, imo)

Sanctuary/Dull Edge-nice to have these, although the potions are useless now. (or they will be when enough players have the buffs)

Erosion-game changer in pvp, I'll be a lot more careful with my yellow spine set now :shock:

Avert gaze-limited use, but good against the few critters that have hypnotize.

Enchant Shield-EPIC.

Resource Finder-if it works on plants, then the remaining inventing market will crash and burn, but otherwise I think it's fine to have.

Gloat-see honor.

Sacrifice-I LOVE this buff, although it may be a bit underpowered. imo, it should be .1% xp gained, but this may work fine as is.

Reckoning-Dark Curse just got a WHOLE lot better :P

Okay the only buff I have a problem with is sacrifice thats a heave price to pay for barely and extra xp. Say at level 100 sacrifice it takes away 25% of your gold and gives you 2 % extra xp...... If unchanged to something with a little less impact on the bank I won't be hunting with it.

It's called sacrifice for a reason....and with pvp Prestige 10% adept learner 200, lib 225, Conserve 200, and then add on doubler with this buff? you can get a hell of alot more xp;)

Erosion +0.1% per point chance to reduce an attackers item durability to 1 if durability damage is inflicted. Note this skill only works in PvP and if you are defending.


why not just trow all the crystalline items away or just give them out for free... i personally use crystalline items for GvG defense... so why would u do this to the GvG guilds? :/.

atleast u can make the GvG to not take damage on their items... for crying out load... :x
