It should also be noted that the flail in question is neither forged nor full durability; perfect FF flails are as cheap as 12 dots.

I'm really, really wondering here.

the HCS staff can sometimes surprise you when they buy your stuff. They are quite generous

Please. We all know exactly what it means, but nobody has the guts to say it in the forum.

maybe the item is going to be used in something new and she is buying 1 to test it?... but even that don't explain the high price

If they want an item, they have the means to just give themselves an item. Evidence of this was when the same staff member was wearing nolands gear before it was even released into the game/arena.

The only thing that would make _some_ sense is if HCS had asked the player to do some form of reset for whatever reason and were refunding the FSP this way(think back to the BB gaining level situation and how that was resolved). But even still, wouldn't the staff member just send the FSP via trade?

Conspiracy theories.. Where's avva when you need him :P

the admin in question is not on the forum much so probably won't give us a answer
and 1 admin is already probably a multi.. hooftest and hoofmaster sounds like a pair of multis

Hooftest is a test account used by ALL staff should they need to test something, replicate a bug, or beta test new content(common business practice). The other staff accounts are all accounts crated by individual staff members who will log in only using their details to play the game as they see fit.

The admin in question does take time to briefly run over the forums most work days, but like most of the staff, they only reply when needed.
