So in a sense will reckoning help me gain more xp in a hunt if i am using doubler, CA and SSI or am I not allowed to have those running for it to activate?

Reckoning +0.2% per point chance of doubling a random skill level for the battle if you initiate the combat (Note that this skill does not work with Doubler, Summon Shield Imp or Counter Attack.).

No it wont work with doubler. But it gives you a greater chance of increasing librarian, conserve or adept learner. I use these skills with reckoning everyday and get 3 levels. So all these buffs either make you not burn stamina to get more exp or just flat out give you more exp. Ive gotten 17k exp off one kill when reckoning activated on adept learner and librarian activated with conserve not buring my stamina. Its the best leveling buff ive ever seen. But you cant use it with too many buffs because it will have too many buffs to randomize so stick with adept learner, librarian, conserve, doubler, and reckoning.

I really don't know if this approach is any better than the standard, but if it isn't much worse, it should be somewhat cheaper; Reckoning is expensive, but so is DD/SSI/AM/EW/Berserk/etc.
Does Reckoning ever double its own level? It doesn't list that in the description, but it would be really silly/useless if it could. I hope it doesn't.
