I have an idea. Add base stats to the tournament rules so it can be decided if base stats count for the tournament stats. Also add percentage. If base stats is disallowed, it should be at 0%. If allowed, it can be 1 to 100%. To prevent overpowering, the base stats is scaled down to the max equip level. For example, if the max equip level is 20, the base stats is scaled down to 20. Overpower solved.

Another suggestion: If player loses the tournament, he/she gains 25% gold refund.
Even another suggestion: Add new PvP Tournament tokens for rewards claiming!

Suggestion for token rewards.
Losing in first round: 5 tokens if 16 players or 10 tokens for 8 players.
Losing in second round: 10 tokens (16 players only)
Losing in semi-final round: 25 tokens
Losing in the final round: 50 tokens
Winning the tournament: 100 tokens
For every 5 levels, the multiplier increase by 0.01. For example, if player is level 100, his/her token multiplier would be 1.20x. The multiplier is capped at 2x at level 1000.

Ideas: If player earns a PvP Arena Wins medal, the token rewards would be multiplied. If player wins a tournament with Crystal medal, he/she would gain 250 tokens.

The medal level's and the player level's token multiplier stacks. For example, if the medal multiplier is 5x and the player level multiplier is 1.2x, first the medal multiplier take effect then the token multiplier takes effect. For example, if player wins a tournament and has crystal medal, he/she would earn 500 tokens and then the level multiplier kicks in and the token earned would increase to 600. The highest possible multiplier is 10x. That's at level 1000 and with crystal medal. That means up to 1000 tokens can be earned.

What token can be used for? For cool stuff, like Epic and Crystalline items. It had crystalline items with item sets. It had Epic potions, like for example, Potion of Tirelessness with level 1337 Conserve.

Rewards Suggestion

Weapons and Armors
-Diamond Breastplate :: Crystalline :: 9001 Tokens :: Level Scaled
-Diamond Blade :: Crystalline :: 9001 Tokens :: Level Scaled
-Diamond Shield :: Crystalline :: 9001 Tokens :: Level Scaled

The diamond equipment bonuses scales to your level. It starts with overall stats bonuses of 25, which is 5 in attack, defense, armor, damage, and HP. Cannot be repaired but durability stops lowering at 1. Therefore, eventually, the durability will be stuck at 1/160. For every 2 levels, the item stats bonus will increase by 1. At level 500, it would offer 255 Attack, 255 Defense, 255 Armor, 255 Damage and 255 HP. After level 500, it will increase by 1 per level. At level 1000, it would have 755 Attack, 755 Defense, 755 Armor, 755 Damage and 755 HP. Can be hell-forged. It is different from other hell-forge function.

They form a set. Includes +100 Elite Hunter and +100 Fury Caster for set bonus.
Crafting would also increase stats bonuses.
Uncrafted: +0
Very Poor: +5
Poor: +10
Average: +15
Good: +20
Very Good: +25
Excellent: +30

Miscellaneous

-PvP rating reset :: 10 Tokens per 1 point above/below 1000:: Resets your PvP rating to 1000. A confirmation will show "Are you sure you want to reset the bounty?" If yes, will reset.
-Instant Level Up :: 500 Tokens minus 5 per current percentage towards next level :: Will level you up instantly. Cannot be used to get past the soft level cap as noted in FSP upgrades. If mouse-over on [?] at +1% XP towards level, it would show the soft level cap.
For every 10 levels, the token cost for 1% towards level up increases by 1. So for example, for level 500 players, it would cost 55 tokens to go up 1% and it would cost 5500 tokens to instantly level up. Token cost for 1% towards level up hard capped at 125 tokens.
-Convert Tokens into Gold :: 1 Token is converted into gold. The amount of gold per token is twice your level. For example, at level 100, 1 tokens can be converted into 200 gold. Therefore, 250 tokens could be converted into 50k gold at level 100.
-Convert Tokens into FSP :: Allows you to convert tokens into FSP. The amount of tokens needed for 1 FSP is 500 Tokens. Players can choose one of the five packages. To prevent abuse, you can only buy 1 package per day. Also, the package, when bought, comes in effect 6 hours after purchase. This is to prevent abuse.
1 FSP for 500 Tokens
3 FSP for 1337 Tokens
10 FSP for 4000 Tokens
25 FSP for 9001 Tokens
50 FSP for 15k Tokens
-Purchase Skill Points :: 500 Tokens can be bought for 5 Skill Points. Each successful purchases will triple the token costs. It also increases skill points by 5 to the purchase. Can only be bought 5 times for a total of 75 Skill Points. After the 5th purchase is made, the 'buy' button disappears permanently.
1st - 500 Tokens - 5 SP - 5 Total SP
2nd - 1500 Tokens - 10 SP - 15 Total SP
3rd - 4500 Tokens - 15 SP - 30 Total SP
4th - 13,500 Tokens - 20 SP - 50 Total SP
5th - 40,500 Tokens - 25 SP - 75 Total SP
-Lock minimum XP :: Prevents XP from falling below the locked xp. Same effect as Protect XP except that XP don't go below protected XP even when killed via a bounty.

NO! So many people think its unfair as it is because high levels have more gold and more bps and this and that, this would just add more whining.

Another suggestion: If player loses the tournament, he/she gains 25% gold refund.

Nope again. Its supposed to be a gold sink. Do the math, every arena for gold cost more per 8 or 16 entrants then the house puts out. It makes sense, Like a casino taking a cut. Its good for the MP and good for the game.

Even another suggestion: Add new PvP Tournament tokens for rewards claiming! Ppl gains 5 tokens for participating, 10 tokens for making it to 2nd round, 20 tokens for losing in the final tournament and 50 tokens for winning the tournament.

Interesting I will admit.For making it to the finals, I have always said something should be awarded. Perhaps if they dont do the tokens as you suggest, there would be your small % of gold refunded.

pvp is broken enough as it is. People deserve to lose levels, they shouldnt be able to buy their way out of it.

First almost good one I have heard, except levels up higher cost alot more then levels where your at. ALOT more, especially far over my head. Your tokens would have to be ALOT higher.

I like it, but what about all the items that are in the Arena right now. They'd need to be added to the List of Rewards or we'd lose a lot of the newer items =/ (Add a poll)

Conserve 1337? 25 Fsps?

So if a Level 900 player used this potion, and therefore having a 60% + chance to use no stamina when combating?? They could earn the 25 fsps back with barely any stamina at all and buy another one. It's an obvious NO, but that would be what it would cause!


As for the tokens idea, I like it! Although for some of the rewards:

instant level up - I think should be maybe 15 tokens x Your level, therefore me, at level 219 would need 3,285 tokens to automatically level up. And a level 900 player would need 13,500 tokens to level up. This would avoid abusing the level system.


And the sets? What level are the sets? What Stats? 1,337 tokens? (I have no idea where that figure came from)



And definitely no epic rewards, and if they were, at least 100,000 tokens.... epics are easy enough to obtain as it is (with RP and TKP).



Overall it needs a lot of work, but some ideas are interesting and I would like to see some of them added to the game. :)




*edit* And completely forget about the base stat points idea! Imagine a level 900 player going up against a level 5 player in a level 5 arena!! I don't need to explain any further.

1337 is xbl or gamer talk for "Leet" as in "Elite"
To use it in a sentence- "Wasnt it uber 1337 when I pwned that haxor noob in his face?"
Translation- "Wasnt it very elitist of me to completely obliterate the cheating new player in the cranium?"

They havent even fixed the arena as it is now when it would be so easy to just break the page into level ranges of 50 so it wouldnt be so clogged up with levels no one joins and crap prizes no one wants :(

I like the tokens although the rewards are arguable. It would be cool to atleast get something for participating in a tournament :P.

Token idea is a good base, however the rewards and such still need work.

(I'd gladly pay 25 fsp for that lvl of conserve, combined with brewing master it's a one hour hitting spree without barely using any of my stamina)

The only 2 things that would affect my game play are the clear bounties thing and the pvp reset so I'll comment on them.

Clear bounty - No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, and uh.. oh yeah NO! The point of the BB is to punish a player for an attack on another player, and that punishment is xp loss. There should never be a way to opt out of the bb. Do you understand that by giving players the ability to buy their way out of a bounty, you would effectively be killing the bounty board.? Obviously not. Sure more people would be doing the pvp arena, but only so they can get enough tokens to clear their next bounty on them. Boost one aspect of the game at the expense of another is never a good idea.

PvP reset - Sounds good. Not sure how many people are going to use it, but I for one like to watch my pvp rating go up, even if it is worthless and my chances of getting the dominance medal is less than 0.

I don't want to bump the thread but I felt like this thread is a bit abandoned. I want to attract more ppl and discuss about the ideas.

I think Arenas are dead to most people. Unless you know of the perfect set-ups and get LUCKY, you aren't winning any of them.

If that were not challenging enough, they keeping adding so much gear to the game, it literally is a nightmare. There is a reason only a few people have gold and crystal Arena medals.

I think arena needs more rewards and the cost for joining tournament needed to be lowered. The cost is too high. For instance, PvP arena with max equip level of 84 costs like 60k gold to join. What a rip-off! And besides, I owe Rogie 600k gold.

PvP arena needs more rewards that could be bought manually.
