Like many others in the game, I hold a lot of personal gear I hunt with and I have deleted a couple items by mistake which cost me fsp and I couldn't get back. My suggestion is, like with guild tagged (locked) gear, you can't delete it. How about we have player tagged or lock on gear that a player would have to physically remove the lock to before it could be deleted or sold, traded, etc. It would cost gold similar to guild tagging. It would cost gold every time you put a player lock on it. But you'd have a less likely chance you destroy something. Yes you could be more careful, but it would be a gold sink. you don't have to use it unless you want. I'd use it. What does everyone think?

Suggested many times before, which you'd realise, if you actually searched before posting ;)

Folders don't stop you from accidentally destroying gear, dude. Anyhow, my suggestion is just to double check what you click on before actually destroying them.

Well, if it'd been suggested many times before, maybe it needs a fresh talking about !

And what fun is searching? That takes to much time. Let other people tell you its been brought up before.

But seriously, I think it'd be pretty nice.

I use folders but that don't guarantee that accidents won't happen. In a rush I've done it twice. I do try to be more careful now but again think it would be useful.

It actually asks you if you're sure you want to destroy the item before it is actually destroyed.

My suggestion is not to FAIL. It's not easy avoiding this, I don't think I ever click on the wrong boxes, and if I did I would check it right back off.

Suggested approximately once every two weeks

As long as you couldn't send the items to other players, and as long as it cost something along the lines of (item's level X 100) gold per item, I really don't see why not.
