Subject: GGT2 Round 1 Voting

Voting starts now and it will last until Sunday Night at 10:00pm CST (~48 Hours from this post)
Please refrain from posting in this topic until I am able to post the entries.

Next Weeks theme is SuperHeroes!

So, is there any restriction on next week as well, such as 'signatures (vertical or horizontal)', 'avatars (in game size or forum size)', 'large poster art', 'wallpapers', etc? Also, are we allowed to start working on it now (even if we may not get into the next round due to loosing in this one)? Lastly, are submissions for next week going to be due on Friday as well?

Thanks for your input on this manner, and I'm looking forward to your reply,
Xel.

Oko gave the theme early so i could work on it because I leave for vacation tomoorow and come back thursday. We Are allowed to work on it (otherwise he wouldnt have given the them :))

As for the size restriction, I think there is none whatsoever during the GGT unless one is stated

Hi Oko, I've been talking with abogado about fill the gap you have in the GGT. I'm interested in face to Khalsa500 in the 2nd round. I'm waiting instructions. Thanks

Yes you may join, could you send me a pm here in the forums? Just simply stating that you are going to fill in the spot. I have company over this weekend and I have to update the brackets later tonight and i don't want to forget. =)

I think I'm gonna make 7-15 tags and get feedback on another forum as to which ones are better and ways to improve them. Assuming I can win this round, which is going to be rather difficult in my opinion, I really need to step it up for the next round!

Good luck to all those out there, hoping to see people show more seriousness next week (ie: not see people pass up the entry date and not participate),
Xel.

Yeah, I'll probably make more as the week goes on, but I'm down the shore right now, so I wanted to get it done before I forget that my computer is here with me lol.

Question: If we made something are we still allowed to vote? Because most likely we would just have a bias vote towards ourselves.

You could probably vote but don't vote for the group you are in

EX: You are in group 111. You can vote for the other groups but not number 111.

Just my opinion but you should probably wait for oko to Confirm

That would make since, but then the voting could get screwed because then there would be 1 less vote for whatever group.

The only reason I am asking this question anyways is because I saw someone vote for themselves.

Personally, as a rule of thumb, I never vote in contests in which I am actively involved in as a participant.

Also, I feel if I did vote and I got to my entry, I tend to be biased against my work, and I feel that would often reflect in my vote if I ever did vote in a contest where I could either vote for or against myself.

It wouldn't really mess things up if 1 vote had 1 or 2 less votes per every group that had participant who voted, but it would hint future voters into which groups certain artists are in, as Oko did mix them up from the original roster as far as I noticed [meaning while you are still paired up against the same person you are in the brackets, your brackets vertical position isn't necessarily your groups entries].

With the use of colors I've seen in some of your work I'm guessing you made the really cool Double Tap one?
