I really like the colors and flow in this sig.

Try moving the text to a different location...

This would be a great piece to get creative with text. Maybe even doing a two line text Moltres on one line and I Choose You on the second.

I look forward to seeing version two!

In most cases with a sprite sig like this you leave the empty side BLACK. This way your eyes aren't wandering that empty side. As for text.. I would suggest some rather large say Arial Black size..... something larger than 36.. With low opacity.

i think the render stands out too much. the red looks too contrasted compared to the background

I don't care too much for the size, but given the size of the render, that's fine. I think it's ascetically pleasing to the eye and don't really see anything wrong with it. I think you did great on this tag.

If I changed 1 thing, I might recrop the whole tag to make it a skinny tag so that the focal seems less small compared to the height of the tag. Lastly, I wanna point out that I am seeing a different version of this tag in your signature right now unless I'm having issues with my eyes or monitor; and I prefer this version to that as it shows more depth imo [so I'm recommending swapping this into your sig over that one]. :P

Anyways, nice work. :]
Xel.

Ps: As far as your signature goes, I recommend separating the tags by a line break so they don't collide into each other. That kinda just bothers me, personally. Also, I see no point in having the "^ both by me ^" part. Generally if a tag isn't by you, you credit it; if there is no credit associated, it is assumed you made it. That's why even when someone buys a tag from someone with full rights, you'll usually see a "bought with full rights from " in their signature.

Thanx halo :D
I tried the text you suggested, it seemed a little too big and overpowered the focal lol... that or im not doing it right xD

Thanks, ill see if i can put some red c4ds or something into the BG

I suggest taking the last one you posted, the cropped one, and adding some photo filters and gradient maps to it. Also, I like the original font that you kept on the cropped one as well over the other font. The text was always fine imo.

Xel.

No, the goal is to strengthen the effects of the color and its harmony into the tag, it adds a bit of visual depth as well.

Ex:

Not to flatten it further. This is why monochrome is a harder style to pull off, the whole monochrome style comes with a level of flatness that you have to either embrace with your style or contrast in another way.

Anyways, good luck with your tag,
Xel.
