Pretty peeved

I cant believe the state of things when one of the most (this is for the older players in the game) valuable items is now more likely to be tossed than prized.
I got a sword drop off a baron about 2 years ago, and it was one of my top 3 FS monemts. Now players that get the drop probably dont care as its not 'epic enough'.
HCS chasing the $$$ so much? Maybe because you can buy every set under the sun (except a few in terms of the thousands avaialble in FS) for shiny gold people dont need to donate.

as a buyer id want to know i have a chance to get my fsps back if i choose to sell an item but with all the cheapest sellers driving prices ever lower i dont see why i should buy.

Create new recipes for both potions and gear that use items from these current SE's to sink these items from the market. Then re-release them in a year or 2 as Reborn versions.

Reasonable obviously but HCS most likely wont do this.

This idea is pretty good, or a version of it. Something is wrong with the SE drops and have been for a very long time(what else is new? lol). The older SE drops were focused on damage and leveling. Legendary and especially Epics have made them obsolete. I feel sorry for the SE hunters today, mostly the ones below 540. Lishka armor has a little value. Everything else under that level is worth nothing.Remove all current SE's from rotation to be replaced with new SE's.
Create new recipes for both potions and gear that use items from these current SE's to sink these items from the market. Then re-release them in a year or 2 as Reborn versions.

imo if they do that at least switch around the spots. Saddened baron could switch spots with enraged lusika, and perhaps it could be gloves armor amulet, helm and boots. They both give set bonuses but if you own both the original and new one you get an even bigger set bonus.

There's the new level 200 SE.... drop is still damned valuable and for good reason.... I'm just thinking up the possiblities available thanks to it for PVP, GvG, bounty hunting, and even a bit of other stuffs.
But if you're only considering older ones, yes.

Sorry, I stand corrected. I was only considering the old SEs. That is how worthless the old drops have become. The saturation of gear is a problem even with elite/champ sets. Would be nice to see more inventing using old pieces with same kind of failure rate. It would only help the economy of the game.

Even if there was a new SE brought out with drops that weren't game-breaking, but were used to invent a potion or an item or something else, THAT item would have to be better than anything else in it's class or it too would have no value.
If the cows stopped introducing new game-breaking items every five minutes, then a new SE could be a sustainable item/set, but given the recent track record, todays news is DEFINATELY tomorrows chip wrapping (that's fries, for our colonial friends LOL)

We have already disscussed the removal of non vital SEs periodicly to help the market and invigorate the game a bit more. Intrested to see what your ideas are
instead just make those SE parts components to make another SE items..

ppl are not asking for the world just that items ppl hunt or farm have some value ..i remember well farming ragnok and others for a few fsp now u would be lucky to get a few gold.
lol i have a stupid idea would be shot to hell but the game needs something make a epic a item call it what ever you want make its stats not so much game based but charcter based ie decent stam gain so ppl mouths water just at the though decent max stam add gold gain it doesnt matter what as long as ppl think i MUST have this hell if possible have it up base stats by 50% that compenstates for a slot missing and covers all base stats it doesnt matter what it is as long as ppl wet themselfs wanting it..
then make it as hard as hell to make and i dont mean a couple le items make it use 10 full le or se sets that gets rid of 30 plus items on one item at a min being full sets it will add value to the junk we have hell make it 20 full sets just make it so hard but the reward is worth the effort ..
making it so hard will keep the amount of em down make the price of them high but will remove hundreds of worthless pieces of junk that we will never ever get rid of
we need something to add value to what we have not for greed but its how the game works ppl who have fsp buy stuff from ppl who dont who in turn either use em or buy stuff from others

as game progresses new things are added to game and fall into one of these categories, its natural.

ur right it is but the 2 options are only limited by hcs not doing enough to allow old gear to be dumped ie not bring it back for a start unless there is a way to rid the game of the existing clutter
its been said a 100 times guild tagging was the greatest thing and the worse for this game.. great cause it ment it stopped the thieves and damn there was alot of them and worse because it was the games natural way to get rid of stuff everyone had to own there own so that kept the price of everything up and two it rid the game of gear when a player stopped playing ..
that one simple act alone destroyed the markets

The way to stop the game being easier is a periodic increase of monster stats. By making the monsters stronger periodically, you can negate this effect in large part. Gear that is no longer powerful enough will be phased out or dropped or used in inventing. The new gear which is "more powerful compared to the old gear" will still be right on par to make the game a challenge.
