Players on different servers don't show up on same map.
Also, while you know in which maps to find the creatures, players can be in any realms that their level allows them...
The server thing can be changed, as to finding them in whatever maps they could be in, thats kind of the point. Why shouldn't you have to actually go and search them out to hit them?
Titan hunts would be interesting, if they could work around the server issue :wink: :twisted:

Leveling and PvP are totally different.
I do understand your vision of the thing but it will for sure kill PvP.
Both of them work totally differentely.
It would be like in SS2 and PvP there isn't really active.
No, in SS2 there are dedicated 'pvp zones' right? There are also a lot less players there lol.
How come, whenever an idea is brought up that doesn't make thing eleventy million times easier for pvp players it'll 'kill pvp' or 'drive people away from pvp'.
Because in this place, it's tried, and it killed pvp?
When I played SS2, I ran into the same number of people per hunt that I run into here. Wouldn't be any better.

Well then, player coordinates could be shown when you 'search for them'. No, basically I think players 'should' have to hunt other players down in the actual maps if they wish to kill them.

No it wouldn't. If you are referring to players being able to go straight to whoever messages them with locs, then the answer is simple. Remember the loc and move along before messaging..

If they put player coordinates in bio with the map where they are I like it more
But then, if a player is hunting, they are almost no chances for us to get him... He constantly moves so we wouldn't be able to get him.

Since I started this game, it has changed to favor the thieves and the sadist more and more as time goes on.
For example, Deflect used to give you 24 hours of peace between PvP attacks: not anymore, I've deflected attacks and been 100-stammed again an hour later. And the new "find hunters with lots of gold" function that FS Helper makes it super-easy to find a hunter that has gotten absorbed inth e hunt and forgot to makes thier gold safe, or for whom the Marketplace is being slow, and setal their gold while taking XP and possibly eliminating a neccesary and expensive buff.
The thieves and bullies just laugh at the bounty board: it is easy for them to yo-yo at the level they are optimized for, and if many of them are dishonorable: they get to 100-stam you, but if a guildmate 100-stams them in a bounty they not only counter-bounty but they get their guildmates to do a delevlign party. Apparantely, one guild thinks only they are allowed to 100-stam people, on the BB or off. And many high-level hunters tell me that spending 25FSP on an XP Lock is just a part of life if you aren't in a big guild.
HC's response when you ask: "automation of stealing gold is fine, PvP is part of the game."
So after donating thousands of dollars to this game in the last year to keep HC up and running, I'm done donating.
I don't enjoy leveling anymore. I can't even bid on EW1000 and WI350 potion without fearing attack.
I can't post something like this to the forums without expecting to be 100-stammed by the bullies who don't like anyone putting their sadistic game at risk.
It did not used to be this way. It used to be fun. Now, FSH allows any thief in your range to set up a browser window on auto-refresh to monitor gold of active people. Sell a bunch of FSP ti build a structure, they'll see it in seconds and hit you. Forget to bank or hide gold in a hunt, they know it in seconds and hit you. And HC is OK with that.
HC's de facto policy: Screw the levelers. Thieves and Bullies rule.
Well, screw that. Someone else can pay their salaries from now on.
Too bad for HC it can't be paid out of gold stolen from players.
I fully expect to be 100-stammed for posting this. I just don't care anymore.
ok,while i don't consider myself to be a bully,i admit i do this quite often.If im running low on gold or need 10 or 15k to be able to make a Marketplace listing,or dont have time to hunt,i just find someone with 200k+ on them and 100 stam them.If i dont get over 40k i return the gold and evryone stays happy usually.but sometimes i get bountied and i can really care less,even if i get deleveled it only takes me a day or two to get back up.I do not consider this to be "immoral" or "unfair".When i have gold on hand and i get 100 stammed,i dont whine,i bulk up,whallop the guy back,and take my money back.The problem with levelers is that all they think about is their precious levels and if anything gets in their way,they hate it.This game is not for pure leveling.PvP IS part of the game and noone can say that at one time or another they have not partaken in it.Money stealing is part of the game,always will be,and should stay that way.

With that thinking though Roan, they have now made it ridiculously easier for predatory players to hound hunters. How come they haven't made it easier for hunters to protect themselves?
