Made this to practice for the upcoming round:

I was playing around with the font for about a half hour and finally decided to just take it off.

The render is just a bit oversharpened, and you might want to blur the BG for more depth.

The green C4D stuff on the bottom kind of throws everything off, imo.

I can't say I really like the colors.. the BG seems dull compared to the C4Ds.

I dont use c4ds much, those are fractals. But thanks for the rest, I'll see if I can fix it.

Lower the saturation of parts of the fractal above the render, they are too 'green'. Also lightly erase selective bits of those fractals that weaken your effect, but aside from that, your effects are rather nice, I like the flow. Possibly blur the background a bit, and there are a ton of oversharpened parts you wanna fix. Lastly, fix the black smudge on the top left side of the screen and the odd blackish rectangle in the lower left corner of the screen.

Aside from that, everything looks nice,
Xel.

The rectangle is actually a building from the original stock, and looking at it now in a different room it does look way to green on the bottom there. It must of been the lighting where I was sitting before.

I appreciate the help guys. Lord knows I'll need it for the up coming round against bebo lol

Yeh, but I'm not sure if you'll be able to use a sig you posted for c&c here, because that would be posting the sig prior to the competition; thus everyone know's it is yours...

I think for c&c on a tag you plan on using, you'd be better off going to a different forum with a different username and getting it there.

I have no intention of submitting this as my entry. Thats why I said I made this as practice for the GGT. By help, I meant that by making me conscious of the flaws in my usual work I can hopefully avoid them while making my entry.

Looks far better imo, though you still didn't smudge out or clone out those weird black areas I mentioned. :S

I hope you didnt mean the black on the right, cause thats a building in the bg of the stock, I'd have to start over, and I just dont have the time.

Three words: Clone stamp tool [either that, or smudge blur it in, but I think clone stamp would be cleaner and faster, not to mention easier...]. ;)
