i think the only the top 50 thing is stupid you should get points toward a item each kill you getlike so many pvp rating gained gets you x number of points and when youi lose pvp you dont lose the points. The 100 stamina hit thing is stupid to i like to mdo bounties but i will not a do a bounty if its going to take all my stamina and for low levels that dont have so much stamina theres no point in even putting up a bounty

Items are the last thing we need, the game is full of a wide assortment of items to mix and match for any occasion.

Ok let me summarize it:

1.Hardly one want the bounty board suggestion to be implemented in the game, since it is useless and will make the bounty board to an epic failure.
~My Opinion: Bounties are seen by HCS and some frilly LvL`ers as a kind of punishment but most pvper`s (unless some wannabe Levelers with a PvP complex) just ignore the bounties or laug about those ppl who place them as they see it as a kind of weakness they show by letting sumone other to revenge the attack. :lol: So in fact this suggestion will lead in a wrong way no ones want it to be!!!
2.Most of the people say we don`t need any more potions for pvp rating etc.
~My opinion: Could be sometimes a bit of a use ut most likely not necessary for pvping since a PvPer normally knows how to get his rating up without *cheating* through potions. :D
3.Alot of the PPl are optimistic about this suggetsion although there are some who don`t wnat it since they are lvlers and don`t want to be hunted by trolls/psychopaths like me. :twisted:
~My opinion: I would greatly appreciate it since most players in ym range already know me and try to hide away their few coins from me and i REALLY want their coins. XD No seriously the levelers try desperately to keep us pvpers away from them in any kind, may it be deflecting buffs or anything else and if we hit them cuz they were carrying a large amount of gold they start complaining like a small child which lost his sweets... This is a game and it is related to PvP, if you don`t like to be robbed turn everything you have into fsp or give ti to sumone who can save it from the thiefs or just stop playing it, BUT PLEASE stop complaining how bad it is to be robbed by thiefs I am ascared how much people (even high levelers) still has not realized that THIS IS A PVP RELATED game so threat it as such. THUMBS UP for all the other PVP related improvements!!! W00t updates :D :mrgreen:

I think these are good suggestions. What good is a bounty board if you have friends to 10 stam you off..

What's wrong with a 10 stam clear? Making 100 stams mandatory would just deter even more players from pvp.

Hi all,

We would like your feedback regarding the PvP Ladder changes. Here is what we are looking at currently:

- Bounty Attacks must be 100 stamina otherwise they don't count as bounty hits. This I am opposed to due to the stam use needed, Would really hurt the people without lots of stam when it came to bounty hunting and would just clutter the board, until those with lots of stam could clear them, and at 1k stam per clear if it looked like someone was already on it why bother to try and clear them would be a waste of stam

- Potion to increase PvP rating transfer. No all the buff in place does is help people with that, where's the honor in using it to increase your pvp rating? Just make them more likely to be posted thus loosing all the pvp they gained thru using it.

- Reset every two weeks - PvP tokens are allocated to the top 50 which can be exchanged for items. This is a good idea gives people a chance to get on the list and won't allow the higher lvl's to hide their ratings by staying off the bb.

- Increase the PvP target range to +/- 10 A very good idea, once you get to higher lvl's the number of people in your range becomes smaller and smaller leaving fewer options and this would help with that alot.

- If the targets actual level is outwith the range (ie. they are only in range due to virtual level), only pvp rating / gold is taken. As far as this suggestion i believe the current system in place works quite well and as they say if its not broken don't fix it :D

I am very glad to see that they're looking at ways to improve pvp and hope they continue to do so, Not everyone is content with scavanging, chasing titan's or entering the arena, and a few upgrades to pvp would be greatly appreciated.

My thoughts..

100 stam clearing only would mean that those with huge upgrades will be the players who are able to obtain the medals ~ no sideline bounty clearing :/ I kinda like the idea I can do the odd bounty now and then and it wont hugely affect my stam gain needed to buff/level ect. Also feel the bounty board will be a lot more busy! Sooo maybe not such a bad idea in that respect, could also stop the higher levels taking lower levels bounties which can be no fun! :D

The potion idea sucks really ~ I feel it just makes competing to gain the recognition and proposed items limited to those who can afford to purchase the potion/buff first and it would be nice that there was no advantage for those who have the gold/fsp to buy it first and pvp rating was based on ability.

oh my dayz! I love even more! Larger target range will make things a lot more challenging and more chance of targets being found :P

just a thought... maybe Hoof's thinking about a PvP Rating Potion to coincide with the bi-weekly rating reset?

potion = more rating gain = easier to stay on top

All the ideas are good except the 100 stam hits for a bounty, perhaps you should consider the fact that it might kill off PvP for most since being bountied will be far more likely because the person knows your being severally punished, soon the only people getting good ratings will be the bounty hunters, just my perspective

Not true, Budro. The ability to knock down an attacker 5 levels seems to be with the intent of getting someone out of range, or taking away their ability to harm your character through the knocking off Xp. This is not true with the current VL set-up. Someone can get knocked down 100 levels and still be able to hit the same guy, taking Xp the whole time.

The average player as they go up, meaning the ones who can't afford quick PLing through a range. Can't easily get away from an attacker, even if the attacker isn't trying to keep up. This would make it possible for them to do as you say, and knock the fellow down a few to get a bit of reprieve a bit faster.

Yes, there are people who sit there and 100 stam randoms for no other reason than to ruin someone's day. lol

A once only option.. or failing that .. make it 500 fsp for a reset.. My whole point is that you should not be forced to become involved in a section of the game that holds no interest to you.

You cant opt out of pvp!!! It is part of the game!!! It always has been. (at least as long as i've been here)



Bleltch.. it is part of the game for some people.. not for everyone.. I also dont like hunting plants or inventing potions.. so I just dont do it ! I dont have to worry about breaking out in "blood blooms" all over my character .. if I choose not to..

Why should I or anyone else who is not into PvP be subject to other peoples whims and be forced to either partisapate or just cop it.. if they choose to attack you?? I have paid some money to play this game as many others have.. and I do think that I should have some control over what parts I want to play.. and if I choose not to do PvP.. then my decision should be respected.. and my game enjoyment.. should be protected!

I am not suggesting for a minute that there should be no PvP.. but it should be like the rest of the game and be optional..



could not of said it better myself..if i dont want to be a part of the pvp thing i should be able to opt out... there is a game to be played..this is not just a pvp game..

What are the chances for unreasonable 100stam attack if you don't have gold in hands, not a forum narcissist, and in the guild known for taking 5 lvls? Probably somewhere below 1%, no? All FS, dodge and other enhancements and buffs to survive an attack should be calculated with 99% "opt out of pvp attack" chance that is in a control of every player, not making yourself a target is already a chance based "the opt out of pvp"... Another thing is your game plan, if it's not xp and you don't allocate lvl up points for last levels, pvp attacks on you are useless, let them burn stamina, and then profit from the next hunting session :mrgreen:

i don't see how making 100 stamina the only way to gain PvP rating would be good for the ladder and PvP in general..with a weekly reset, think about all the players losing 10% their level with each attack just because they have the same rating as that 'hardcore pvper'...would this be good for the game? or PvP? yes it would make more bounties but it wouldn't promote more personal, one on one PvP which should be the main goal..just because you have stamina and friends to safely clear you, doesn't make you good at PvP..it will only cause more unnecessary drama and tension

how does, not caring about level less show dominance? or having friends to safely clear you or back you up..because thats what it comes down to..what would be the point of attacking someone with 10 stamina? lol might as well make all attacks 100 stamina..which is ridiculous. i don't want to destroy someone's level just because i want to take their rating or want them to get into some pvp tag..it wouldn't make them hit me back, just to toss up a bounty..its Player versus Player, not Player hits Player and that Player puts the attack in Someone Else's hands...

why so worried about rating traders?..there will always be those who buy their medals..we know who they are and we know who we are..thats all that really matters. actions speak louder then pocket books

i asked someone if i can attack him for pvp rating because i needed for a quest, he says yes and i attacked but he bounty me after i gave gold back...... that quest should be removed, i forgot whats it called...

oh yeah I put a bounty on the hunter :mrgreen:

Please leave bounties at 10 stam hits!!! If I feel I have cause to use 100 stams, I will, but it should be the hunters choice, not a requisite. XP loss is already doubled on the BB, there is no need to force players into using heavier hits.

The whole idea about this thread is to suggest changes that will fix the pvp ladder, to make it show who the pvpers are. As it is now mostly high level players trading, or farming points on bounties is the only way to get to the top. I believe making 100 stams the only way to get pvp points is a way to increase the risk enough to make it unappealing to the more casual player.

i don't see how destroying someone's character shows who the pvpers are..what would be the purpose of hitting someone with less then 100 stamina then?

you are less likely to be hit back if you swing with 100 stamina..
