I am starting to like the idea about all BB action being 100stams, and the PvP ladder stuff as well.. will be very hard for ppl to submit tickets on it, if it gets implemented :twisted:



lol I like 100stams from the beginning, but there should be some new medal for it, don't like that some anti-pvp'ers have BH medals now.. :evil:


That is ironic and a darn shame. But they buy there 1 hit bounties and call them selves PvP Experts. LMFAO! It really isn't that hard to pick up some gear and hit back on someone. Relic bonuses make it tougher to him some back, sure, but you can do it!

I haven't traded or found loopholes to gain any medal I own currently. Not sure why I'm defending myself right now tbh. They probably aren't even referring to me, I guess I simply value my integrity in this game.


That your responding to this charge without being mentioned shows your guilt. You do buy medals so don't pretend like you don't. I am happy to say I have NEVER bought a medal yet, and I don't plan on it. People buy from you because you have access to a credit card, lolz

Guys, NO ONE has said this statement, "I LIKE the idea of having 1000 stamina clears for bounty hunting". It WILL NOT HAPPEN. So why keep posting about it. Try reading a few pages before posting.

Also, look at luisspamer's comment about how PvP rating should be transferred. I think it is the best solution, and I have YET to hear another plausible solution to the PvP Ladder.

Thank you everyone for the 48 pages of feedback so far on the PvP Ladder Suggestions.

We're going to take a read through it all tomorrow and try to compile the best ideas and re-post the initial suggestion taking them into account.

We'll now be looking to implement the final ideas later next week, providing we come to a conclusion on what would be best to implement once we get new feedback on the updated suggestion thread :)

Hoof please consider the option of being able to opt out of pvP all together.. many players believe that they should have a choice in what aspects of the game they wish to play..

an i ask you to consider the addition of GvG rights for guild members please
as a suggestion you could make it a new guild structure say called "" master at arms ""for a nominal FsP cost ;)

believe it or not some of us don't play the game to PVP. Please don't change the system.


If you don't PvP, i fail to see why your qualified to comment. Enough said.


just because someone doesn't pvp doesn't mean they are not 'qualified to comment' pvp effects everyone in the game so everyone has just as much right to comment about changes that will effect them adversely or not.

Make PvP and GvG optional. Have a tick box that prevents you from attacking AND being attacked. Maybe a delay of 24 hours before the defensive properties of this feature take effect...to prevent abuse.

we'll have to agree to disagree on that storm. The purpose here is to fix the PvP system. The "do nothing" option is not an option. Something should and will be done about PvPing, but we just disagree on how it should be implemented.

Can't make GvG optional, it wouldn't not fair. What if everyone in your hitting range decides NOT to participate, it destroys another aspect of the game. Although, I tick box for PvPing would help resolve a lot of issues.

If something affects how PvPers grab points from people who don't PvP, it concerns both parties equally. If not more the one who has more to lose.

I used to be in favor of an opt-out, but one unintended consequence would be that FSPs would be sold for 200k+ instead of 150k in the Marketplace because opted out players could buy low and sell high with no consequences (now, they risk being attacked while holding a million or so gold).

My suggestion for an opt-out would mean that the opted out player could never attack in PvP, would have a permanent PvP rating of 0, and would never lose XP due to an attack. You could still lose gold to keep the market in check, but your equipment (crystalline or otherwise) would never be damaged.

The opt-out would have to be permanent. I mean PERMANENT, for the life of the account with no going back. As well, an opted out player would lose all Dominance, PvP Arena, and Bounty Hunter medals already accumulated, as well as lose the ability to participate EVER in the PvP Arena or on the Bounty Board.

Put some teeth in it if you're going to offer it.

I am in favor of an option to disable pvp that should initially be free. Any future changes back to activate or disable it should cost fsp to help prevent abuse. Your choice should be set for a minimum amount of time before it can be changed.

I wouldnt prevent people who have it disabled from entering the arena. They should however not be allowed to attack other players nor clear bounties. I agree their pvp rating should be disabled when pvp is disabled so no one can freeze themself as one of the top rated on the board.

Anyone should be able to gvg and be attacked in gvg regardless of pvp choice.

Gold can be stolen still but you dont take equip damage from these attacks? That seems reasonable to me.

Doesn't matter how many people on the forums like it, HCS will never allow an opt-out. It's an important aspect of the game and I'm sure HCS would much prefer to balance things nicely rather than segregate the game between PvPers and non-PvPers.

That said, I still don't agree with that 100 stam only for rating suggestion or most of the suggestions that PvPers seem to make, apart from those I and bleltch mentionned earlier in the thread :

- Reset or decay rating every ~2 weeks
- Diminished PvP rating trade on the bounty board (1/10th of the normal level perhaps)
- Minimum and maximum number of hits per bounty of 10, no other choice
- Exp losses going both ways

I think this is enough to fix trading and pvp rating asides from perhaps changing the formula which determines how much PvP rating is fixed (it's pretty borked).

Please make it so you cant bounty a bounty hunter. What is the point of taking on a bounty for that person to just put you on the bounty board. Makes for and easy way to get your medal. You and a friend just keep bountying each other..Sure others may get in on it but for the most part its an easy way to get your medal.....

Jedi thoughts for boosting activity on PvP Ladder

only two types of attacks..10 and 100 stamina..
[*:1j2dukgt]10 stamina attacks only gain PvP rating..no prestige..no exp/gold loss..no ability to bounty(OUTSIDE the bounty board)..this would make players fight their own battles instead of throwing up each attack on the bounty board..
[*:1j2dukgt]100 stamina attacks have the ability to choose what to attack for..Gold..Experience..or PvP rating(for those who don't wish to destroy someone's xp)..OR all three
-When you choose PvP rating only, its double the amount from what you would take from a 10 stamina..a max of 80 or 150(with Gloat)..when you attack for PvP rating only, the attack message in the target's log will tell them you used 100 stamina and have the ability to bounty the attack or attack back(check out revenge hit below)..this would add the risk of a bounty with the glory of gaining a top spot on the ladder
-When choosing Gold and Experience(or all three), you also gain PvP Prestige..I only included prestige with Gold/XP attacks to limit the ability of safely trading for prestige..
-Prestige is only gained from Bounty kills and 100 stamina attacks(not with PvP rating only)..you have the risk of being bountied and losing xp, so in turn you should gain the ability to gain your xp back easier using the prestige buff..

[*:1j2dukgt]For these ideas to go into play smoothly..xp loss has to occur no matter the difference in level from your target..if im above you, i can take your xp..you can do the same back
[*:1j2dukgt]PvP log..organization is key..give the ability to turn off PvP notifications(yellow message) so those who don't wish to be bothered with the amount of PvP going around, aren't..yes this is 'a pvp game' but the amount of attacks, especially if they reset pvp rating every couple weeks will be too annoying for those who don't wish to partake in that part of the game..


[*:1j2dukgt]Revenge Hit- If you attack with 100 stamina, i have the ability to attack you back for double the xp/gold/pvp rating but i give up the ability to bounty..for each hit made against me, i can make the same amount of revenge hits against them..there is a 48(24?) hour limit in returning with a revenge hit..this would give players a chance to get back what was taken from them personally, instead of throwing it at the board..it will probably only be xp or pvp rating because the gold will be long gone but you should of been more smart with it ;)
I personally think this would add alot of activity to the slow moving pvp ladder plus it would just get players attacking each other..be it for fun or to gain a spot on the ladder without being destroyed because they attacked the wrong player/guild..the pvp system would work how it does now basically, those who thieve can thieve..those who want to dance on the board can still do that..those who bounty hunt still have the same system..the 10 stamina attack would just add another dimension to pvp..

You couldn't just stay on teh top of the ladder thru 10 stamina attacks alone..you would have to put yourself at risk with using 100 stamina for more pvp rating and bounty hunting..taking part of all aspects of PvP to become truly dominate
