Bad news if your based in the UK as the lag will never be fixed. Check out this thread for the reasons why:

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=95679

Now if there were some servers UK or Europe based we in the UK may not feel like were getting the crappy end of the stick and may donate more. Massive market being missed out on by the cows imo and one which a company would do well at exploiting with a game that catered for Europe as much as HCS caters for as the USA and Canada.

The person who sent her the location had FS Helper on, not her.

i don't understand ?

"Ping is a program that sends a series of packets over a network or the Internet to a specific computer in order to generate a response from that computer. The other computer responds with an acknowledgment that it received the packets. Ping was created to verify whether a specific computer on a network or the Internet exists and is connected." - Indiana University

Basically, that paragraph means that your computer sends and receives information in the form of "packets". The speed at which you send and receive those packets are known as your ping speed (the time it takes to send a packet and receive one back). Ping speed is usually measured in milliseconds.

There are internet sites that measure your ping for you, but I don't know if i'm allowed to post them here.

the game is fastest for me around 07:00 - 09:00 server time, when there are only about 1100 players online

not sure exactly what that means, or what could be done to make the game that fast when there are 2k + online

I'm in Baltimore, Maryland, USA and I'm getting an average of 58 ms.

Sandra: You've got to be hacking something if you're in the UK and you're getting about 14 ms, since the servers are based in Florida, in the USA. Either that, or you did the test wrong.
