thats not really risk, thats one in a million, and odds are you wont be bountied by someone who was just inactive...but that means i must hit actives they frighten and bounty me
And? PvP should contain risk.

None of these things have a thing to do with the pvp ladder. Maybe that's why they aren't on the list.I see nothing in this that will deter the use of PvP by large PvP-orinted guilds to harass other players. The stamina limit on counter-bounties does nothing to prevent a large PvP guild from taking 5 from a bounty hunter, even if they only did 10 stam hits. And this almost guarantees that a 100-stam PvP attack will be cleared by only 10 stam attacks on the BB.
And they did not fix the VL problem. Stupid.
So from a levelers persepecftive, this fixes nothing. So no more money for HC from me, sorry.

thats what bounties are for lolhey, could you make it so that when pvping against lower levels, they lose xp too. lv 39s keep taking advantage of that no xp loss, so i cant attack them back.

So HCS must start to search what the *fair* way on bounties is, instead listening everyother piece of us.. So only way to do is "being active on this game & caring about their characters" as usual as normal players.

The PvP attacking of players who dont participate in PvP is still in? -1
As long as the "easy" targets are allowed and real PvPers can attack them, the PvP ladder will never really mean anything. Same for the dominance medal. Oooh ... I attacked a leveller in stam gear and Im at the top of the PvP ladder now. Hmmmm... This update isnt even a band-aid on an amputation. I wanna attack players who wanna participate. So do the real PvPers. The bullies wanna attack for who knows what reason ... but its still allowed ... EVERYONE knows it ... and it keeps getting swept under the carpet. Why IS that anyway?

How about just taking away pvp point transfer, like you did with prestige? That way gold can still be stolen and there wont be any abuse of players sending gold to multi accounts.Failed Attack Repercussions.
If an attacker is defeated by his target he will loses experiance, gold and rating as a result for losing as the target currently does at this time. This keeps PvP completely fair. There are no longer any safeguards against failing your attacks against other players. The winning defender cannot be Bountied.
With further thought I see this as a drtriment to pvp. Especially with the bored leveler contmplating trying out pvp. The thought of exp loss may likely cause them second thoughts on getting involved. We want more players getting involved in pvp, not fewer.
You will no longer be able to attack a player that is inactive. This prevents players padding out their PvP rating with 'safe' attacks.

Because it doesn't have anything to do with the pvp ladder maybe? The bullies wanna attack for who knows what reason ... but its still allowed ... EVERYONE knows it ... and it keeps getting swept under the carpet. Why IS that anyway?

VERY important imo.How about just taking away pvp point transfer, like you did with prestige? This prevents players padding out their PvP rating with 'safe' attacks.
Having a multi inactive account would be an easy way to hide gold.
Only take off PvP rating transfer from inactive. Don't take away the complete power to attack them.

ONLY gold..no xp loss. this would just allow players to destroy inactive's levelsVERY important imo.How about just taking away pvp point transfer, like you did with prestige? Ok, helps those higher levels, only wish it was for 100+Target Range Increase.
Increase the PvP target range to +/- 10 over level 200.
Sounds like two giant mad dashes at the beginning and end of the 2 weeks. Only good thing is that this will promote the buffers who have defensive buffs. The PvP Ladder Reset every two weeks.
This will keep the playing field completely level. Every player will be able to get their PvP Rating through focused combat without having to do so for months on end. This will also allow players to buy exclusive Items from the PvP points earned. Points will be awarded to the Top 50 at the end of teach two week cycle.
Sounds good.Minimum Bounty Board Attacks.
We will place a minimum number of attacks on the bounty board. The minimum number of attacks will be 10. This will help reduce any abuse of it for PvP Rating transfer in conjunction with the other suggestion change for only applying the transfer to the player that actually completes the bounty.
Ok, sounds good to me.Counter Bounties limited to 'x' stamina attacks.
If you clear a bounty with 'x' stam hits, then you can ONLY be counter bountied with a maximum of 'x' stam hits.
This system would promote bounty hunting and stop mercenary hits on people.
Why wasn't this here in the first place.Deflected Message
An Attacker will get a message in their Logs when their attack is deflected.
Sounds okPvP Rating Transfer during Bounties.
A snap shot taken of initial PvP ratings upon accepting the Bounty. No PvP rating transfer during the bounty. Only the winner of the bounty will gain a PvP Rating transfer for the equivalent amount of attacks plus a small bonus for successfully completing the Bounty. This helps prevent excessive PvP Rating loss for the Bounty Target while still allowing the Winning Bounty Hunter to gain PvP Rating for the Completed Bounty.
Ok, I like it, keeps it kinda fair.Failed Attack Repercussions.
If an attacker is defeated by his target he will loses experiance, gold and rating as a result for losing as the target currently does at this time. This keeps PvP completely fair. There are no longer any safeguards against failing your attacks against other players. The winning defender cannot be Bountied.
Aren't all bounty's going to be 10 hit bounty's, so I don't see the use.Bounty Medal Alteration.
Anyone who completes a bounty of 10 hits or more will have points added to the medal, anything below will not count to the medal.
OK, but let us take gold still.Attacking Inactive Players.
You will no longer be able to attack a player that is inactive. This prevents players padding out their PvP rating with 'safe' attacks.

it will be a mad dash before 9 server time at the end of the two weeks..they are still subject to bounty but it will benefit those active before that time. it will all depend on if the reset is on 9 server time if it will affect the dominance medal too much..still i would rather see a decay but with a reset, you will see ALOT more pvp activity. which is better in the long run..just look at the board right nowSounds like two giant mad dashes at the beginning and end of the 2 weeks. I love the way you think BG!! =)

This system would promote bounty hunting and stop mercenary hits on people.
Hmm I still dont like this part. It removes the risk of bounty hunting. How if they use a variety of stam in each hit? It is not needed to control how much stamina is used to clear someones bounty.
^^I totally agree

This is the only portion I do not agree with. It takes most of the risk out of bounty hunting, making it even more safe for medal hunters. I dislike the idea of removing the element of risk from the bounty board.
^^ Very good points. Specially if someone is going to take pride on killing someone 10 times and losing 30+..If I beat a bounty hunter 15 times, why should he or she gain rating for beating me 10 times?
Counter bounties don't need limits.
PvP rating reset should be monthly.

Counter Bounties should be attacked for whatever Stamina
And Bountiers should have a choice of how much they want per hit on the attacker, depending on amount of Stamina used against them.
