What is wrong lately? I hear of guilds being "Hacked" and people stealing from guilds. What is being done to stop this? For example, the guild Secret Alliance is being systematically dismantled and destroyed even as we speak. These things always happen on the weekend too. Even STRONGER EVIDENCE, HCS that you must have someone monitoring the game 24/7. If there was someone from HCS here you could step in and put a stop to these sorts of things before they get out of hand. What a shame.

I think one thing that would put a stop to (or at least slow it down) it is to remove "untagging" items form the game. Seems most hackers are only interested in getting what they can buy ripping off guild tagged items. If they couldn't take those items then there would be nothing for them to gain.

Not really an options as when the guild is full, how will people sell off crappy stuff? I really think that some kind of password should be added to untagging of gears that only the most trusted ppl/GF know.

I honestly think that if you have a strong password and you keep it , and your life to your self you wont get " hacked"

I heard that in the latest "hack" the hacker used a program , since there is a 15 minutes cool down after 3 failed attempts , its odd that he got the password in 2 days ( again, from what i heard )

But i would say this, i do think if someone try 3 times to access an account and fail, then the cool down need to be 4 hours , and a mail with activation code needs to be sent to the account owner , so if he is the real owner he could gain access before the 4 hours are up

Part of the problem is the willingness for for people to take advantage of the spoils of the 'crime'.

Should HCS actually step up and take action against those on the receiving end of 'stolen' items, then people would think twice about the frenzy bidding on cheap items. Anyone bidding on these items, knows they are stolen, and it goes without saying personal profit reigns over morals. This is why it would be nice to see HCS put their foot down on those taking advantage of the situation.

yes there are some who act with the right intention but the bulk do not.

Remove the temptation of cheap gear with the risk of losing their account and the person destroying a guild would have one less way of causing headaches.

It's a means of limiting the damage without players having to 'take matters into their own hands'.

Guild vote to remove tags from 10 or more items in a day?

48 Hour wait period to untag epics? (or perhaps a way to "super tag" an item) So that you will need to wait 48 hours for the item to be untagged in the future - would be very useful to prevent people from losing epics or expensive legendary items

this has always been a problem either through hacking or stupidity but hcs does need to kerb it afterall its real money that runs a guild no getting away from it there expensive to run ..

and yep hcs can trace any gear gold or fsp to anywhere and when something like this happens the items need to be put back and hackers/thiefs banned i seen another thread wont name names but it began with M that needs dealing with too as thoses guys are just as much thiefs by keeping items that alot prob worked for ..doesnt matter if its within the mechcanics of a game it is morally wrong just shows what there like as real ppl

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR KIND WORDS AND HELP WITH SECRET ALLIANCES HACKER SITUATION!!!!

yes this guy did hack our founders password in 2 days. Yes We are VERY protective over our guild.

AND 100% BIG YES that HCS needs to put a foot down to the greed and profiting from stolen gear. We have all donated thousands of $$$$ to this game and now we are all hurting deeply watching it all be sold and dismantled.

As far as whether or not HCS Will rollback the game like they did with "Panic" I doubt it...I would just like to have our gear and our guild back..we will rebuild from there...even if we've lost all structures, gold, and members

Hello, I'm Windbattle, Former Co-Founder of Secret Alliance

For the record, my founder, "arichey22" did NOT go to any 3rd party site where his password could have been stolen. He does not share this account with anyone. The password he had was like 10 or 15 characters, so guessing it would have been unlikely.

I will not go into the details of this matter on the forum, because HCS will be looking into this matter (hopefully).
