HCS and Password Concerns?

I don't know whether HCS helped Panic guild or not.
If they did, good to know that someone gained something.

Does HCS have to bail out all players and guilds?
When will the player or guild take their own responsibility?



They fixed the guild Xp.... which was recorded in the guild advisor. lol

Not hard to do, and the guild was not dismantled so fast. The members were able to catch it pretty fast.

Obviously seems American to me, perhaps you should look closer at what Britain does exactly regarding bailouts.

The fact that HCS hasn't already bent over backwards and immediately given everything back and then a ton of extra stuff is a complete surprise to me.

Someone please help me understand this.
As a player or account holder, you are supposed to create a "SECURED" password so that other people don't know.
If your password is weak and got hacked, why does Uncle HCS have to bail you out?
If you allowed another player to have excessive rights into your guild and they took your items, why does Uncle HCS have to bail you out?


Your not in the know, so i'll help you understand. Currently, your allowed to guess someone's password as many times as you like in the forum. Your forum password is linked to your password to log into fallensword.

Therefore, anyone with a password cracking program could eventually crack your password given enough time.

After digesting all this useful information, Why shouldn't they get bailed out?

I agree, 100%. Arichey is venting his anger in the wrong way. However, Hunted Cows has ignored most of our tickets so we are frustrated.

I was the former Co-Founder of SA.

Also agree. This thread was RETARDED and deserves a lock. Just another person taking a CHEAP SHOT at SA. Like SA needs any more of that.

Wrong, idiots coming onto the forums crying saying 5 of you got hacked in 30 minutes has created that hostility. At some point, they began lying about what really happened to them, and sympathy took a back seat to intelligence.

But since you seem to be refusing to re-join your comrades, I suppose you already know that, huh? :roll:

I would like to rejoin them, but what is there to join? I have worked too hard to start from nothing again. I just feel SA should get some compensation. As of this post, they have got NONE from HCS.

Not looking for sympathy, looking for justice.

***Could people stop making threads about SA. Is it possible to just let a topic die off?

We are located in Scotland. ;)

We will help the people who need help, have had problems and so on.
Also we cant go around ensuring that players all have secure passwords. Thats up to the individual to have a secure password and keep it secret. We are not babysitters.

There are numerous areas of advice on passwords and their creation all over the internet, and even posted on relevant topics on the forum.
Also remember your security questions. Its as important as a password.

Due to the Data protection act we cannot discuss customer details, and that includes past behaviour of our players.
Due to the anonymous nature of internet profiles people can say anything they like and in reality it can be different and we can see this in admin and in Tickets in support but cannot disclose information to the public.
