I liked the update with the "Blocked Skills" that has been added to the game not too long ago.
It's very helpful to avoid getting buffed with useless buffs and buffs that won't do much change for you or any at all.

But, I was wondering for a while, if the cows were able to add that option, then why not add a preference that allows the player to choose the minimum level of buffs that get activated on them?
For an example, a player can put the minimum at 155, after that, they won't receive any buffs that are lower than that level.

This will help to save stam.
1 reason of why this should be added to the game, is when someone in the guild requests buffs to hunt or PvP or whatever, this person might prefer to be buffed with only level 175 buffs, but then a level 250-300 guild member goes to buff him with level 150 or 155 buffs, then a high level guild member goes to overbuff him again with level 170 or 175.

If that person was able to choose and decide which level of buffs can be activated on them, that player level 250-300 wouldn't have wasted their stam.

Isn't that a good option?
Plus, if it possible, it would be better if the player could decide the minimum level of EACH single buff that are listed in the "Skills Page", like they can put 175 as the min level of AL-TH-AM.. and leave the other buffs without a min level or put a different min level on other buffs.

And please don't reply saying "why not just specify the level when you ask for the buffs?"
Because sometimes some players forget?
Or sometimes it feels a little inappropriate to specify the level of the buffs when you get a lot of buffs from your guildmates, I even sometimes felt that way before.
And, because this option will make things much more easier and more smoother, plus it will prevent confusions between guild members and buffers and the ones requesting the buffs.

Please let me know what you think about this and don't forget to vote ;)
Thanks.

Not a bad idea at all, I don“t see why not.

Player A asks for DC, has prefs set to 160
Player B buffs level 145 DC, doesn't go through
No other guildies with it online.
Player B now has to tell player A to drop his preferences
Player A changes prefs, B buffs again.

A lot of work if you ask me. Our solution in a previous guild was to post in chat what buffs you were giving to a player. Seemed to work fine then, ie

Player A says : Can I haz DC plz
Player B says : DC coming up!
Player A says : Thank youz!

Similar things already happen with skills such as NMV, some players like to use it for PvP but at the same time like to block it in GvG.

"Our solution in a previous guild was to post in chat what buffs you were giving to a player."

I'm not sure if that goes to all the other guilds in the game :]

But like I said, if that player who was asking for DC and didn't care which level he gets, then he can just leave the min level for DC empty.
That is if the cows were able to add a min level option to each buff.

And some players would never hunt with AL or Conserve or any leveling buffs below 175, even if none of their guild members were online to buff.

I know some player wouldn't like to use this method because they PvP a lot so they ask for PvP buffs a lot and don't care much about the level they get as long as they get the buffs, but IMO I think that most of the power levelers and some other players out there would love to use this option, since they mostly only get buffed when they level or hunt titans or SEs.

I like your idea, but I have already found a solution to the problem you mentioned.

For instance, if you use a potion for Librarian, say Librarian 225 (bookworm), I just block that potion from being cast upon me.

For non-potion buffs, I cast buffs on myself FIRST, then go shopping for buffs, then ask guild members. It is always a good idea to ask the person with the highest level of a buff to buff you first (when asking guild members), because it saves stamina. That is why asking for buffs in general chat is dumb IMO.

If you implement what I said, I don't see why they need to bother with the coding.
