Leave them the way they are, we have tons of PVP items already. This game is turning into a
PVP game.

Turning into? Nice catching up on the game you have been playing for a while there

No one can deny that we changed this game and influenced it in such a way that NO ONE could compete with us.. so much so that they changed the rules. ~Abhorrence, chosen founder of Cerulean Sins

the sets look awesome just a shame all of them need a specific component part, namely moo coins, which apparently can only be obtained from participating in the pvp ladder matches , all well and good if that is what you enjoy, but what if its not?
Super inflated prices for the cow bank or for the armor sets themselves, forcing people to buy more fsp so they can buy them good ploy, but as we all know not everyone can afford them.
Why not have moo coins as a loyalty reward option as well, say 50 loyalty points per moo coin so that those who play on a regular basis ,who dont enjoy the pvp aspect of the game can also have a chance at making these sets, it's an idea and might not alienate even more players!

These are PvP ladder rewards. Enabling them to be bought in other ways defeats the purpose almost as much as people being able to manipulate the ladder.

They CAN be bought in any other way - as evidenced by folk with them, selling them :).

HI ! this is my first post in the Fs Forum..

My !dea is

For Every 500 PvP rating Gain you get 5 Pvp Reward
If we do this we can make it like a re do able quest and not bound to hard core pvpers who can keep there pvp up all the time and have farmed it up. and you know the gvg system well you can have it like that.

And this my be to divert attention to pvp than leveling cuz we are near 1000 level and congratz to whoever.

Really think about it they need time to make more area and new buffs.

Really these things are stupid cuz whats the point in have tons of damage when you need to balance some in def while pvp and even if you use them for leveling.

My feelings on this have been expressed by others here, I just thought I add my "vote"...leave them the way they are and in the future weigh things more carefully BEFORE the gear is introduced. This feels like the Epic mess all over again...people have made big decisions ( to invent gear, buy parts , sell parts, etc) based on the info and stats provided....now to change that ...its like ...well just don;t do it...just don't...that would be the worst possible thing you could do to your players...

I refer you all to my post on page 42. I think my solution will work for ALL players because it is an actual FAIR system. Let me know what you think, 8)

i know some have commented on my posts as being insignificant (?).
but, Where is this poll on new item strength?
where is the poll?
where is the poll?

i heard nothing but horrors of high level players trying to hit high level creatures, so i'm of the opinion keep the numbers, say no to nerf, no to nerfs, no to nerfing, and no to nerfers.

And i got a sig line that makes me happy.

The poll was only available for a short period of time. HCS closed it after a few hours and the final result was 57% in favor of leaving the stats as they are.

i heard nothing but horrors of high level players trying to hit high level creatures, so i'm of the opinion keep the numbers, say no to nerf, no to nerfs, no to nerfing, and no to nerfers.

As one of the 'fairly' high level players my opinion is that high level creatures (say level 600+) are quite easy to hit, especially with the Epic Blade of Fire (or Trident of Water below level 700) and the Volkers set (level 710+) and the Acherons set (level 850+). If your guild also has one or more empowered relics with 10% damage bonuses then it is easier to 1-hit every single creature, but a relic isn't even needed most of the time. After level 900 hunting becomes even easier as you can stop using Counter Attack on a lot of levels, because you already have enough damage from items and other buffs.

My personal opinion is that we don't actually need the damage of the new level 890 set. But we can still want to have it.

To add to this in "other places" I go the reality that donators get more than non is very clear. Something that could be done in FS is for the next donation run sell a donator pack instead of 20%, people who bought this could get some special random bound donator only gear.

But why stop there?

How about for every $5 donated you get +10 stam a hour for 3 days?

I know one place nondonators cannot ignore other players,,,ohhh yea it brings in the $

LOL @ buying medals,,,why not? Have a medal for $100, 500 etc spent on game?

In those other places I spoke of there are things you can buy that are not nessessary but very nice to have, imagine how many $20 donations you would get for a 30 day pvp shield? Another idea stolen from some place else would be a familiar, a pet slot you have to pay for. The packs sell well for those who wont pay $ for a game but are willing to work their butt off for something

finally how about a donator only area? It could be anything from a special quest to an area where donators can hang in a tavern and use a global chat.

Long and short donators are the ones paying the bills, keeping the lights on and paying for the servers. I am sure ideas like this have been put out before and id love the chance to argue the case on any reason why it shouldnt be implemented. Id like to sum this up by describing an avi I saw on a bio of a staff member in another place

Its a 2 story outhouse, donators on top and nondonators on bottom :D

A 2-tier version of the game would get my vote too - as long as it wasn't BLATENTLY an "us vs them" scenario. Yes, the non-donators will cry foul - and more than likely VERY LOUDLY - but let's be honest (and brutal) here - if they don't donate, then they don't contribute to the running costs of HCS and its servers, ergo they should be on a lower tier. As Grendledog said, it's the DONATORS that pay for the game and the development and the infrastructure.

A donator only area would work and some sort of mult-level chat environment could be a good use for that..

Having said all that .. donor medals ? - HELL NO - I know maybe one or two folk who may want other players to know how much real cash they'd donated, but most dont - most prefer to keep things like that to themselves and it's no-one elses business really anyway.

Another variation on this would be to just give non-donators a "reduced access" to the game - ergo, for example, they could level but not PvP, or Titan Hunt, or play the arena ? - not necessarily suggesting they could ONLY hunt, but make some facets of the game "locked" to them ... that would certainly bring in more revenue for HCS I suspect - which is good for the game, of course.

Also donators should have the option to prevent non-donators to talk to them.

I still prefer the idea of 'donator only' areas. And not something that allows you in for only one donation. A time limited area of FS that only allows access for the recently donated.
