Constructive feed back:

1) Disenfranchise the PvP rating from the bounty board. (There is still a lot of farming going on.)

2) Do away with the VL/AL differentiation. (It will keep those who are wanting rating, with fresh meat, when they get deleveled on the bounty board, and force them to spend stamina or FSP on leveling.)

3) Make it so players cannot PvP anyone who has not been active for 2-3 days for rating. (Still a lot of farming of semi-actives going on.)

4) Make EVERY off the board hit bountyable. (With #2, this will again put the players in a new level bracket and give them fresh meat to hit.)

Spread out the tokens more and make it a top 100 list.

Erm, what exactly does this fix?

So farming will still be just as profitable, only now they have to invent the things instead of just sell the resources? Im missing something here. . . . .

The equipment/items made from the resources need to be bound also, or this fixes nothing.


thats pointless then no one will want to pvp for the items if they are bound... no one will need them because the only players doing pvp are really the players near the lvl 200 area the y keep winning so all players level 200 and up get tokens they should make separate pvp ladders like for each level like levels 1-50 get their own ladder and players lvl 51-100 and so on... that way they get their own that way they can compete with themselves it makes it so that more people can get those prizes and so that way the players can keep the items and make them if you really want the items to be bound onto the player... just a suggestion...

Not sure how this will stop the abuse of the system Hoof...

It doesn't make a difference that the resources are bound if the items they create can be sold on anyway...

I'm all for the PvP rewards being bound of course to try and stop the abuse of the system for sure but then so the items they create would need to be Bound, maybe to the guild of the person creating them?

You can still do that and create the Item on that clone, from those legendary resources, and sell item for 1000 fsp. No change here.

No more fairness then yesterday.

not bad idea :) i really like it...but i would increase range..like 1-200 :)

No, because now it will be a ladder for level 5 through 200 players. Anyone in the top 2,000 would be instantaneously screwed.

I don't see this changing a thing....unless the ability to learn recipes is linked to your character level. This will stop the low level multi's selling items to higher level customers...thus removing some of the profit-driven-multi-account creation

I personally dont get why you made just resources bound.. The PvPers can just invent the items then sell anyway.. Either bound all of it, or none of it. And this is coming from someone who has 2 PvP sets!

Merge the pvp token and allegiance token. That way you can even bind the items and still give people with excess pvp tokens something to spend them on after they have invented all of the sets..

Uhm...if the resources are the only things bound, what stops the level 5 multi from walking to Snow Forest East (a level 2 zone) purchasing the recipes which aren't level limited, inventing the Extremely High Chance inventing gear, and THEN selling it?

The equipment/items made from the resources need to be bound also, or this fixes nothing.

What keeps a high level bounty hunter from doing the same?

Very Nice! Finally something that makes a little sense. I rarely post forum messages, but due to several friends, enemies and players asking me to do so, I have decided to give a little input myself. Last night I ran a PvP rampage of 100 stamming targets in my level range which is plusor minus 5 levels since I am under lvl 200 myself. Without using gloat or honor, I was quickly able to earn pvp rating that took me to number 6 on the pvp ladder. However, after 1 bounty, I lost every bit of rating I had earned and was back to around 1020. I find this very disappointing as myself and many other players don't believe that the bounty board is part of PvP and the rating should be removed from the bounty board altogether, especially since there is already a top 250 bounty hunters anyway.
When trying to attack players outside of my range, I receive a message stating "INFORMATION
Target was outwith the valid level range." This exemplifies my point about PvP. If I cannot attack players outside of a given range as part of PvP, then why is the bounty board the exception for the transfer of pvp rating? It makes no sense. Bounty Board is used as a punishment of loss of XP and gold and should not extend to rating. Why should I lose rating points to players 500 levels greater than me because they 100 stam me while on BB? This takes no skill.

Also, another suggestion that many of us have discussed is applying PvP tokens to the guilds that are a top the Guild PvP Ladder System. Holding and maintaining guild rating can be extremely difficult and is a true aspect of pvp and teamwork. As seen recently with The Keep of Four Winds breaking the 2000 rating mark. Yet no reward is applied to them or any other guild is does not simply farm RP but takes guild conflicts for their true purpose of PvP and working together to build a strong PvP guild.

The fact that the high level hunter gets countered where the low level multi farmer doesn't.

this is do true we players who dont have alot of fsp and wanted to pvp to at least one moo bank to sell is all a disgrace to us now :evil: cud go back to titan hunting and sell items from titans instead of pvping i lost 3 levels trying to pvp and got to 24th and now i hear its (bounded) cud of saved alot of fsp and gold

How so Gravely? Those in the top 2k can still hit a lot of other players their level, and then when they get bountied and lose levels, they can have fresh meat to hit. It would stop the higher levels from farming the lower levels on the BB for rating, which seems to be a big concern. :)

It shouldn't be about profit.

It should be about who has skill and who participates in the PvP system.

Because there's a rating floor, ev?

If you have more than 1500 rating, you can't gain from someone that has 1k. In fact, having tested this and beaten a lot of players with 1k rating when I have less than 1500, it isn't even that high.

Lower level players on the other hand will be able to hit each other and gain rating (and also have agreements to gain rating) within a specific level range.

As far as I am concerned, between risk of counter and the reduction to rating gain for high levels (I can't gain more than 4 from a player 300 levels under me, assuming they have honor running) that issue has been fixed.
