if the stats were more even, saaay 900 atk 900 def, i think it'd be more appealing.

FORN, I have to say this and please listen.

You are trying to make this game a PVP game. We understand. But think, the PVP option has always been there. Players still chose to level and not PVP their asses out. This means that the people who donate to the game and bring you a living, do not appreciate the PVP part so much. (I mean 90% of the players or so)

If you have a way to see how many people have gone inactive due to the increase of PVP, then you will see what I mean.

Rule is: 90% satisfied players will donate more than 10% satisfied players.

Anyway, there will always be a good game to play somewhere over the net, it is your pockets at risk here.

The fail should have been armor with HP; they should have allowed customization, and the stat totals need to be higher, especially if it's going to require a PvP component.

None of that is being acknowledged; at that point, what else is left to say?

I think that the Cows have been very hands-on in the game lately and it's great that they are paying a lot of attention to FS and taking on board some suggestions from the community.

But...there's always one of these!

I will quote my post in yesterday's thread regarding this item:

Future prediction:

Within the current restrictions imposed on stats suggestions, the Flail will never be better for hunting than the Blade of Fire. So a significant percentage of the FS-playing-population will already have no interest in acquiring one.

Make the Flail att/def, def/arm, att/arm, hp/arm, X/Y - there will be an initial flurry of interest as Guilds with high level PvP/GvGers will go for one or two to Guild-tag. Arena players may also show some interest.


Once Flails are tagged and a relatively small number of players have picked up their own, the Colossus will quickly revert to how he is now...outcast to the edge of FS-society playing in the sand-bucket of mediocrity. Especially considering the amount of stamina and RL-time needed to hunt him...the Epic really needs to be Epic...

I think that creating a lower level titan-epic-item with PvP stats makes a lot more sense. Much more people around that are actually involved in PvP/GvG so there will be a constant demand for the item. People will blow loads of stam hunting the titan and players will spend FSPs to buy the item.

Excluding the gains it looks to me that the Sword of Ghasst will have very similar stats to the Flail when FFed.

Read my post one page back and you'll see just how true this statement is.
This game is headed for the toilet if everything is going to be about PVP.

Only 1 Moo bank Resource needed? Check the other items at that level, they all need 2 Amoeba/1 Moo..

Stats are uncraft/unforged 1100 att, 600 def


So now, the new Flail has a recipe to make it that requires a PvP resource which is bound and cannot be purchased? Nice way to make it so players either have to pay a bunch to get it, or PvP and get on the top 50 ladder to get it, after they have killed the titan x number of times to get the mace. *sighs*


This is a PvP item because of its stats, so it should follow whatever the guideline of the items closest to it, namely Agiads set which needs 2 red slime and a Moo coin per invent.

Soooo... Now the cows resort to forcing PVP on the levelers even further?
Until this concept goes away, I am closing my wallet to this game, right at a time when I was going to "Donate" for 5000 fsp. I won't be doing that until some improvements are made towards the levelers. I have absolutely no interest in PVP in FS, nor does anyone in our guild and others.
WooHoo.. We can still get a mace, but can't upgrade it to flail now without PVP'ing..

I don't like this trend, nor do many other levelers. Some of us are just shaking our heads.

Do what you will cows but if you shift the game too far...
Well. I'll leave it to you to figure out the end result.

When you do something to make the levelers happy instead of taking taking taking from us, maybe my purse strings will loosen again.


If you're talking about leveling, then why would the Mace/Flail even apply in the first place? You'd most likely be sitting in an offline set up with as much stamina gain as possible, which you'd also most likely already have the 700 epic weapon, which is used for leveling.

Also, there have been tons of things done for the levelers. One thing has been an increased level for EOC. It has been a long time coming to give the PVP'ers some stuff too..

I don't mind them working on other aspects of the game since each aspect can be fun if you're willing to try it.

but this recipe ALSO requires an EPIC item to make, so it seems kind of balanced.... even though i think a moo bank was the wrong way to go

Not every pvp item requires those components to build; only the ladder rewards, of which no other Titan item is a part (and arguably, the Skaldir boots are a PvP item as well in the right hands)

*Shakes head* HCS simply will not admit when they screw up huh. Well, at least when I get bored and I have some spare stamina I'll still be able to smack this poor guy around a few thousand times for a rubbish reward.

We listened to feedback and did what players wanted an in the and did the verry best we could with the restrictions we could in the game.
