Player has request up then takes the gold off hand but the request stays up there till someone tries to supply it..
if it still works like that.. you'd think they would change it so when their gold on hand can't back up the request, the request is taken off right away. that would stop the spam requests that are trying to push up the price of FSP

+247,000,000does the marketplace still work like this?..

I've verified this unintentionally by requesting 3 FSPs, and then getting hit for gold, and the request stayed. Then 2 FSPs were bought separately, and I didn't have gold for the third but the request stuck. Someone tried to grab it and found I didn't have the gold before I could take it down myself.

I doubt they're going to fix it, because it's a huge gold sink, both directly and indirectly. Directly, with the tax to change gold to FSPs. Indirectly, if there's a person who's got a lot of gold on them, they're more likely to get hit by PvPers, and, subsequently, when they lose their gold in the hit, and some gold goes down the drain with each hit.

Light Foot and Conserve wouldn't help matters. They'd simply let you save stamina on walking and fighting, which helps get you more gold from the game, anyway. Conserve and Light Foot are gold fountains, not gold sinks. Adept Learner, however, is a good idea, since you sacrifice gold for XP.just a thought here guys if ur going to do LE how bout introduce some rare potions like Lightfoot 500-750 and AL 250 double XP that last half an hour tho make this pot bound conserve 500 just some suggestions that way more players will use it as a gold sink feel free to post any other potions u feel would be worth while guys

not everyone will use em for leveling LF and conserve would be great for titan or SE hunting or plant farming

True enough about the Titans, but still, when you hunt SEs or farm for plants, you still end up with gold from it, since they are regular creature kills. Not a lot, and maybe not enough to pay for the potions, but it's there. I get what you're saying though. Eh... I think most folks will still use the potions for leveling, even if not everyone does.

I don't think it's really practical to fix it. It means anytime you spend/lose any money (e.g. repair), it has to check all your marketplace listings. It seems it would generate a lot of overhead. Maybe checking it on certain expenses, but every single one seems too much.

Incoming attacks, outgoing attacks, and deposits would be the key ones, I should think. Then, perhaps forges, marketplace transactions, buying folders, and that stuff.

why would it have to check everytime you lose gold on hand? could just take down the request when your gold on hand goes below the total request amountso about fixing this exploit..does the marketplace still work like this?..

it should randomly check to see if you have enough gold on hand to fulfill your request(every 5-15 minutes?)..or it just automatically takes it off once you go below the amount(need to reroute the coding so it ties in with your gold on hand and real time instead of waiting for someone to supply the request) *shrugs*

instant gold sink said 100 times b4 lol never happen but would work +25 stam costs 1 fsp do it so it costs gold ..would it stop ppl using fsp no as they would sell them to lvl and you would see the gold in game disappear faster then it could be made
sometimes the solution to the problem is the easest thing
