We've removed the requirement to update the password as it was causing many issues with players.
I do feel for you cows. With the number of players you have ANY change you ever make it always going to have some bombarding the forum about it. I think the problem you had here was not the idea / change itself but the implementation and more important the communication. I used to work in change and risk management. You don't get the comms right, then no matter how good the rest it, it fails.

What if you have not donated to the game? Are those people screwed?
If they submit a ticket via General Support, we will do our best to help them too

If you are still having trouble logging in, and are unable to reset your password (changed emailed address or whatever), submit a ticket under General Support (you create a seperate support account to do this) and provide details of one of the transactions (payments) on your game account.
With this information, we will be able to process a manual reset for you
What, exactly, are the 'details' of a transaction you're looking for?

Sure there is. Companies should take the warning labels off stuff and let them weed themselves out.There is no known cure for stupidity unfortunately

Also my email adress i registered with is deleted...
Means i won't be able to play anymote???
If you have made a donation to the game in the past, email in a support ticket with your transaction details and a request to change the email and we can sort that out for you. (We can use the payment details to verify your identity).
Hmm, now I cannot log into support to submit a ticket.
Appears that support@huntedcow.com no longer accepts mail.
Making things a bit tough to get straightened out :~P

Choose general support
click register
make an account with an e-mail account you can reach
( first one I tried gave an error when I used the mail link I got, so I tried another )
Then you can explain your problem.
Worked for me. I could not get into FS, Forum or normal support system
( My problem was an old now defunct e-mail address )
Hope this helps people like me who can/could only read these forum posts
