My password was fine without an uppercase and lowercase and those wacky symbols. It was a good encryption. The standards that have been forced on us are a matter of opinion when it comes to security. This should not have been forced on the community.
Any hacking software can (through brute force) hack any password no matter what it has in it. Time is the only factor. Having random symbols will mess up the user more than it would prevent the hacker from entering the victims account.
Bad decision. You have made a lot of users not happy; you are not making it any safer for them either. Those of us that know code and computer systems understand this; there is no password you cannot crack.
(Also it is not safe to save your password to the browser. You might as well give out your passwords to hackers if you do this.)
+1 I bet I could hack somebodys password but im not because im a good person and I'd probably get arrested. This is not fixing the problem its just makeing it harder but possible.
