but chances are is they are using hacking program. so all its doing is slowing them down slightly but not stopping themBump...ughThank you HCS, and to all you people complaining : Hcs responded to the hacking problem. If you had been hacked, you'd be screaming and crying for more security...suck it up and deal with it.

Having all those elements make it REALLY harder.but chances are is they are using hacking program. so all its doing is slowing them down slightly but not stopping them
I'm not expert in anything related to hacking but I'm pretty sure that they can't generate password with mixed symbols, number, uppercase and lowercase...

We're not screaming and crying about the fact they've strengthened security, we're screaming and crying cause we're having to reset our details each time, which does get a little bit annoying when you're doing it over and over and over...
...well, you get the idea

Just realise that not everyone thinks that way. Some dunno anything about hacking and don't even find a utility in passwords. They want only something simple. Even if you tell them to change, they won't. Only forcing them will have them realise.right, so you gonna bring that sheet of paper and your PC with you everyday when you are in different place?
again, what does it take for stupid people to change it to something a little bit complex?
dont tell me you think change password from 12345 to computer is harder than whatever you propose...
And it's not that hard to learn a password lol.
we have a totally opposite view in here i guess....
for me, I believe that a person should be responsible for whatever he/she do, you try to do something that you dont know how to do, then you are in your own risk for the loss.
I will give you a real life example,
when people get fraud / scammed in real life from telephone / internet, WHO is going to HELP them?
first time you get fraud, I will say: "I feel sorry for you",
second time you get fraud, I will say: "Dont you learn your lesson?"
if you have thrid time, then I will say: "You deserve it for being such an idiot"
maybe I am being mean here, but hey, if they can learn their lesson from a game like Fallensword at least they wont get fraud / scammed in real life again.....

Unfortunatly, nobody can stop people from believing these scam sites. All that can be recommended is a little common senseThis update should help a little. Now how do we keep players from giving their log-in information to the hack sites?

that is a very good question, and should be the next one addressed honestly. all of this is for nothing if people will still just go an use their account name and same passwords externally. This update should help a little. Now how do we keep players from giving their log-in information to the hack sites?

This update should help a little. Now how do we keep players from giving their log-in information to the hack sites?
Pvp them till they pull their heads out of their rectoral cavities? Or Pvp them until they get so many head injuries the swelling actually causes a Brain cell to develop?

I don't think it's possible to stop that part other then with constant reminders. We can't stop people from giving their password around... Sadthat is a very good question, and should be the next one addressed honestly. all of this is for nothing if people will still just go an use their account name and same passwords externally. This update should help a little. That's fine if someone is affecting only their gameplay by being stupid/lazy. However, there are guild founders and other players who have the ability to completely wreck a guild in short order, which affects all members of that guild. Having a more secure password isn't the end of the world as many people are making it seem. Just give it a chance and let's see if it helps cut down on the mayhem a bit.
