my player reset is at 150 fsp which is totally insane and theres no way i can change my level up points. this has been like it for about a year and i want to try playing again but its almost impossible to get this amount of fsp.

150 FSP is the baseline player reset cost.

It use to be 50, but some changes had to be made to keep the deleveling abuse from happening... sucks, but eh.

Didn't stop mefrom reseting.

Making the reset more expensive was a mistake IMO. Everyone messes up their stats and skills, and at 150 FSP it means that new players have to save up over 25 million gold to get a reset. That is a ridiculous amount.

I realize that it is now 2 resets in one, but often players only want one of the 2. Heck, I think there should be a free reset after 1 month of playing.

I would say a good majority of the older players have reset their points at least once.
It often takes until you are level 100 or so to realise that for levelling purposes you need everything in damage.

150fsp is way too much for most players.

Yeah, at least once reset allowable once they pass a certain point, at a reduced cost, would be very nice for those who screwed up their level up points.

You should have a free reset anyway

I think the Level Up Points Reset should be separate.
However, to fix the problem of abusing skills, just disallow buffing skills whose min level is higher than their own VL.
Not a clean solution though.

yes, 150 fsp is too much. thats why people are forced to buy fsp from $ if they want it, and you cant ask everything free, hcs must earn something from this! i know it would be awesome to have a free +100000 max stam, but this is against hcs interests, so its not going to happen

This is about player retention, which coincidentally is good for profits. "Oh no i screwed my toon and I'm forced into buying a reset" doesn't help anyone, anyone who can donate usually donates a ton because the advantages of donating are immense. Semi-forcing them does not necessarily lead to higher long-term profits.

A free reset would be swell and good for long-term player retention.

I like the idea of a free one given at 186 or available for use once with a confirmation message would be dandy.

Forcing someone to donate 30 bucks to a game they haven't gotten to the juiciest parts in, just because they mussed something up early on is just silly.

I'm not even saying this for myself. I've reset once under the old system and -twice- under the new prices. so I've payed for my choices in moving stats around.

i think its a rip off making us pay a lot for something we don't need just to get something we need to play the game. if this suppose to prevent people from abusing it then its also hurting people who needs it :(

Mah reset costs 250 fsp and i never have deleveld or am going to. + Theres other meaning that is to keep the game harder, to find other solution than just simply throw level up points from here to there.

I don't think anybody NEEDS the reset to play the game. At worst, there will be creeps that will be a bit harder to kill without the reset, but it's a simple matter of "do I want to 1hit at all costs? And do I think that spending 150 FSP now to get some dmg points back will save me more later on expensive buffs/pots? Or do I really not care about maximum efficiency in levelling? (And looking at your playerID, I guess that the last applies).

A free reset on making level 186 would be appropriate, that's when your mistakes start to really bite you.
And another on hitting level 421, just to celebrate getting through Xinderoth. Oh, better yet, make a free reset the prize you get for the last Xinderoth quest!

xinderoth is nothing compared to the SK quests (required to progress btw) :?

Agreed!

Can the devs give me 1,000 fsp to make playing easier too?\

There are PLENTY of tutorials available, nearly 4 years on and 1000+ levels, to let players know how to play......

Anyone who seriously screws up their character in the first 200 levels will probably just abandon it and start over with a new character.

Whether this is considered a "multi-account" is debatable, since they leave their character to die, not coming back to it, not playing 2 characters at once.

Not true..... lol a lot will just put the game down altogether and others will chug along still. But them staying around for long, in any serious way, is questionable
