I still havent seen more than 1-2 EW1000 and With 350 potions being sold at a time. Maybe it is just an amazing random chance but it continues to look like the new potions have changed how often the old potions appear for sale.
bad timing.. i see 4 up there for EW1k

I still would like to see a better auction system. The fact that people can outbid in the last couple seconds and win is ridiculous. If a small fixed amount of time was added for each bid under a couple minutes, people spend more gold on potions and those potions would level out to a real market value, and people would feel like they had a fair chance at winning.
everyone does have the same chance at winning so it is fair.
adding more time would mean the last second bid would just come later.

no.. not everyone has the same chance.. who are you trying to fool?
If I bid X amount at the last second, you have no chance to outbid me because I did it at the last second. People will purposefully wait until the last seconds to bid, and only the person who bids higher within the last second or so will win. Everybody wants to bid as late as possible because they know that any low bid will easily be overbid, and their gold will be tied up. If the auction added even as little as 15 seconds, this would at least give anyone following that auction a fair chance at bidding what they actually value the potion at.
Let's say I bid 500k on EW1000, and in the last second someone outbids me by the bare minimum. Up until that last second I would be under the impression that I bid high enough to win. I would have gladly paid more for the potion but considering we all want to buy as cheap as possible I start with a lower bid. Under the current system only people who can actively sit there and wait for the last few seconds will win. That's why I propose a couple minutes added to the auction.
and you say adding more time would extend the last second bid to later.. not so.. if the system works to increase time for every bid under a certain time.. this just means auctions could last longer, but would be bought at what players actually value them at.

I just want my vote on this heard:
I like it the way it is. I like bidding (and being outbid) at the last second for auctions. I find it enjoyable and exciting.
I do NOT want to go through all the code changes to make auctions "ADD TIME" after any bid so people can readjust what they want to spend. That would be boring.
If you don't like the system as it is now, bid high. If you are consistently being out-bid in the last seconds, then your bid's not high enough to start with (and in your method of added time would never win either).
Keep it the way it is.

When will the respawn fix take effect? I'm still seeing only 1 (ridiculously overpriced) heartfelt stew. Can you confirm that this potion was included in the rate increase?
I too want to know and want to see potions back to the numbers they used to be

If you try to make a bid at the last second and I am also doing that, the one of us who is faster (if we bid the same) or higher if we don't bid the same and are 5%+ apart will win it. Neither of us can stop others from also bidding at the last second.
And if you would gladly [pay more for the potion, then bid it in the first place. Many people do just that and that is why many popular potions are selling for more than they should be - in my view.
Extending time for every bid is just silly - at the best it means that people cannot bid on things knowing they will be there to use at a time they want them. At its worst, people who just like to fool with other people could keep overbidding and keep it there a long time

Considering they spawn every 30 minutes after 1h30m the cycle should be completed.... so even after the fix the number of potions is much lower than before

That's just not going to work. I like when HCS tries to add something to the game but when they disrupt normal play and annoy the player base for 2+ days, it's frustrating.
