Armor Buff Additions

Ive just been looking through all the skills available and the stats of armor and def setups. The suggestion I would like to put forward is:

A 0.1% Increase to Sanctuary Buff, Looking at the armor stats available lvls 0-175, The reason not many players bother with armor setups is the lack of Armor and Att that can be made. There is KE available which improves the att, but a 0.1% Increase in armor is not enough to improve the stats enough to make it possible to beat a standard def setup. Plus with the suicide setups in PVP/GVG many players can easily out do the armor with damage.

My other suggestion is an Alternative to DC for Armor. 0.2% would be too high, But this would also help the normal leveller aswell as PVP/GVG. I would reccomend 0.1% for this buff and that it would be available to use from level 150+.

I have always been a Def player since I first started and in that time the only players I see in armor setups are hunting. If these buffs were introduced I would consider switching to armor instead. Also why is there a lack of HP point attainable with armor setups. Looking at defensive setups its alot easier to improve you HP even though you dont really need it, with Armor the HP would be more important for the 1 damage.

Well thats my suggestions for improving the game, I look forward to it being analysed and torn apart by the other players :)

There may be a new entrench skill that helps convert damage into armor, so that'll help tons and add a new level of strategy.... and why help armor and then simultaneoulsy screw it again with a DC-like buff for armor? :lol:

Defeats the purpose of what your first suggestion is going for. Also, we don't really need a DC for armor, even for hunting.... too many buffs that add damage.... people can always CA up if needed and all would be fine.

The DC like buff wouldn't help armor but it keeps the playing closer to even. I agree the Entrench pot does improve the playing field but it should be possibe to get entrench at a higher lvl as a buff or potion.

I made a similar thread not so long ago, basically complaining about everyone using a Defensive set up and there not being any variation once players hit a certain level. Yes, Defence, Defence, Defence is very dull, plus, Defensive sets give too much Attack and Damage, so Armour will lose even if that 1% rule (or whatever it is, where a player can hit another regardless of Attack Vs. Defence) does kick in.

Also, too many skills knock the crap out of Armour, whereas DC is all that Defence has against it.

HCS seem to have attempted to tackle the problem with Entrench, but does this come at the cost of Damage? If so, it's pointless - just go for Defence and keep your Damage at 100%.

For me though, Cloak is the best new buff; true, I can't afford to buy it, but for serious, high level PvP players, it's awesome, and it means that perhaps Armour can be given a shot just to mix things up a little.
