I'd say dealing with those cheating in areas of the game would be a good start.any ideas on how we can get more people to play FS?

Now, normally one would think that easy ways to make FSP when your new would bring more people to play the game on a regular basis, but I remember when alot of my online hours where simply devoted to effort in coming up with ways to pay for my own progression. If I was a new player now, I only need to log on once a day if even depending on how much I expand max stam (Point rewards go a long way when your new) to get in a plant hunt or do a few easy conflicts at 3 fsp per win drastically cutting not only time put in but also most of the challenge (and dont give me gvg is a challenge, its only a challenge if you make it so. There are plenty of guilds filled with naked low level players whom higher level peers likely wouldnt even buff in defense if they were not naked)
Also with this, having FSP has become less of a luxury to the "upper class" players who once had to work to obtain them to some extent. Having a Writhing Ward is alot less prestigious now that anyone can get one easily in enough time without donating. Other in game goals may have become less significant in the process as well. (Nothing that personally would drive me to want to put in time to the game, but Im just saying people in general have the tendency to want to "keep up with the rat race")
Mix this with the first 200 levels+ which were already pretty easy when I joined now having such dramatically overkill damage stats obtainable, there gos most of the real challenge to those who want to play the game for leveling aspect taking away alot of the real fun of it people may enjoy. (sort of like how SSI,DD and CA sort of killed it for me, but then again they were introduced right when the creatures enhancements started working :? )
And then of course we cannot forget alot of pillars of the community whom kept it alive and were borderline heros to some who play which have been banned or quit (too many to list)
IDK the solution, but if you look at things I propose may be contributing to the factor you might be able to come up with something. . . .
A friend and I were talking about a "FS retro" where on a separate server the game was reverted to a time before inventing, titans, profitable gvg or epics in general, uber buffs, and many other of the new features to restore some of the balance and challenge it once had. . . . . (not too far back, just before inventing would be interesting, but would be tricky to figure out exactly where would be optimum)

naw man when I started this game a year and half ago it was double the amount at least... maybe people have been buying stam gain... you have played for awhile Andy you dont see it?
Yeah I know, but for quite a while now in quiet times its been around 1000, for at least close to a year I'd say.
