HCS should not cap the fsp price but should only provide us with the ability to maintain a system that can keep the price at reasonable levels that will promote easy trade among the players.

SMALL GOVERNMENT!!! UNION FOREVER!!! WOOOOO!!!!

I like your idea. as many people seem to hate mine. But only high levels who make more money each hunt have said stuff

Cap is a big no. It's an easy button to gain FSP, HCS main source of income.

It's a player-runned economy.

Take a real life economic situation. What if they started capping prices for certain valuable goods. Then eventually it loses value as everyone has access to it. This leads to an upset economy and inflation. Just take it in turns for FSP.

As i think about it more and more i realize this is a long shot. As you said fsp is HCS's main income and if they were to put a cap HCS would lose a lot of money as others hunted to get fsp for upgrades

There used to be a 100k cap on FSP in the marketplace. Nobody sold FSP, so putting the cap back again would not make it easier to get FSP. Like nthnclls said, its been tried and didn`t work.

Did you know that there are likely over 2000 rouge black holes in our galaxy alone. Each of them can reach very high speeds, even in space terms, are each capable of destroying anything in their path, and are invisible. Well, goodnight!

No you never could sell gold in upgrades. The OP is delusional with regards to how the game's economy works. The devs don't mind a high exchange rate. It helps drive donations. I would also argue that buying dots with your own real money has more value. You still earned it, you simply have more options with what to do with it - to donate or not is a big one.

I was here for 40k, then left for a while..

OT: What we need to lower the FSP price is more gold sinks if that is what you are suggesting, think about improvements to the scavenging caves for your next suggestion.

well since the game was very new and there wasnt much gold in game and the top level was around level 40 not many could afford them at that price either, plus the 50k was an update. Im not even sure what it was prior to being changed to 50k.

totally wrong, people didn't have it easier to buy fsp then now (you couldn't sell them in upgrade section for 50k either)

When I was a low lvl fsp were 500-1k each.

Marketplace didn't exist, only option was buying them through secure trades. But it was really hard finding a buyer or even having enough gold to buy an fsp. I only was able to buy my first fsp when I was lvl 40 (do note that period I was a top 50 player). And I was only 2-5 levels lower then the highest level.
