Hi, looking for CnC on this avi please :)

Posted Image

This avi will go up for auction soon... also if you can add to the CnC maybe a tutorial that you think would help me with anything I'm missing ?

Wow...I have to say, you've really improved. Only thing I think could be better is the text.

a space stock can do wonders for that avatar :D

Also, make the focal more defined, brush some white on top of it and lower the opacity. Brush some black in the corners :D

as for text, generally all i do is get a smooth font, set it on black or white, and lower opacity.

Very nice work.

You could boost the focal a touch, just duplicate whole image set to overlay, drop opacity a touch and erase around the edges.

Also try a b/w gmap on luminosity 50-75%, would add a little more depth. Always a good one to use.

Cool av though.

Thanks, but how do you do a gmap  I tried looking in google but nothing came up...

btw. without the gmap it looks like this:
(did what aa wanted and you wanted sas, but god... I don't really want to change the text too much, I do what aa does (put in some text and lower the opacity and moving it under layers))

Left is original, right is edited but without gmap

Apply image (ctrl+shift+alt+E)
Set layer=luminosity
Image/Adjustments/gradient map
then select the black and white for luminosity
adjust opacity of layer till it sits nicely

My fave adjustment that=)

You can create it from the layers window too but i prefer the method above.

that ctr+shift+alt+e didn't work or show anything... how do you do it in the layers bar ? I checked the layer mode but there's no luminosity there
