bump.
RIP Arena? or is something gonna happen?
Its stonedead....
Yep, it's died down even more in the last week or so. What surprises me is that Sigma Storm 2 is getting content fairly quickly even though it has a very small player base, yet the arena here gets no attention when it appears to only need a regular but fairly small amount of work to keep it running better.
Ideas below - not much new, but it's good to get people discussing it:
What do people think about having reserve stamina as an arena prize? A lame idea or not? I'd be interested if the entry fee vs prize amount ratio was good enough.
Decent potions as prizes, High level ones that people would actually want

This would definitely help.
Appoint a few players to handle rotation of arena prizes, get HCS to quickly verify the changes, then apply the changes.
Have the arena generator check to see what level ranges already have lots of gold or recipe arenas, so no more are created at these ranges. Track how quickly arenas are filling up and create less arenas at the levels that fill up very slowly.
Make it more accessible for more people.. e.g. someone had the idea of separate arenas for people with less wins, although newbies from the guilds with the good gear are still going to clean up.
While new sets like chumanas probably create more activity initially while people compete for the components, they don't help activity in the long term because people who don't have them are at a serious disadvantage and don't want to enter arenas (although they can still win, though possibly not enough for it to be worthwhile). What might help is new legendary monsters which drop sets with high armor that aren't quite as good as the inventable sets or pvp token sets.
The best armor sets in the mid range arenas are ridiculously expensive.
In the past people could choose to enter arenas without epics if they wanted a somewhat fair competition without spending megabucks or joining a guild with good arena gear, but not any more at some ranges.
