1) Version history.

January second 2010 i started the FAQ and added guild lines and main details

January tenth 2010 i edited and added more information in including gear and buffs, editing errors, and released to Sinfully Guilty.

2) WHAT ARE BOUNTY HUNTERS?

2.1) What is a bounty hunter?

A bounty hunter is one he is paid to go after some one that has a bounty on them.

2.2) Do i need to be a certain level to start?

No, you do not need to be a certain level to get to the bounty board. It is wise though to be a higher level because there isn't many lower levels on the Bounty board.

2.3) What are the rewards?
The rewards are the gold and pvp from the kill, the gold or Fallen Sword Points from the bounty(If you manage to get the required kills in time), and if you clear enough bounties you get medals that go on your profile.

2.4) What does it take?
It take tickets to start a bounty and to set one, it depends on what level you and the target are on how much tickets it takes. See section 3.3 for more information on tickets.

2.5) Is it enjoyable?
This is not really my spot to say anything for i have never actually been a bounty hunter, but as there are bounty hunters i assume it is.

2.6) Why did the cows make bounty hunters?
Since HCS made pvp they also made the bounty board, also called the BB, so they have the option to place a bounty therefore stopping someone from hounding someone else. With a BB there needed to be some one to take them off, hence the bounty hunters came.

3) Basics of bounty hunting

3.1) How do i accept the bounty?

First, you need to get to the bounty board, you can get to this page by clicking ACTIONS then go to pvp there is the bounty board spot there,

Once you are at the bounty board you need to choose a bounty, or offer a new bounty. In this FAQ i will only tell you about Accepting and completing a bounty. Scroll down till you see this...

It is a grid of the available bounties. It is row by row on information of bounties, each row is a bounty.

TARGET-------do you see the collum called target? there is the target of the bounty it tells you what level they are and their user name if you click it takes you to their profile.

OFFERER-------Next is the offerer, it tells you what level they are and their user name is a link to their profile same as the target.

REWARD--------Then it is the reward, That is how much you get when you get all the required kills before anyone else.

REQUIRED KILLS--------The next collum over is required kills, it tells you how many kills the bounty is for to get the reward.

XP LOSS REMAINING-----Then xp loss remaining, this will be fun to explain.. HCS put this in so that someone could not loose ten levels in one bounty, after that xp loss remaining hits 0 they wont loose xp once attacked for bounty kill.

POSTED----- Posted is simple, it tells the server time the bounty was posted to the board.

TICKETS REQUIRED------The next one is tickets required, you need bounty tickets to create and accept a bounty, i will discuss more about tickets in section 3.3

To start a bounty click accept on the left, make sure you have the required tickets and can kill the target first(See buffs and gear section for more info on being able to kill). Then click accept, all you have to do is attack the target after that.

3.2) Where to attack at.
After you accept the bounty all you have to do is attack like you normally would, going to profile page clicking attack selecting amount of stamina to use and clicking attack, But you can attack every two minuets instead of an hour.

3.3) Tickets
This is a very important part to bounty hunting, with out it no bounties would be taken or put up. You can buy tickets with a fsp in upgrades.

side note BUYING TICKETS--- click the purple ball at the top, Its Down there, one Fallensword point for 100 tickets, not cheap in my opinion.

With these you can place and accept bounties. BE CAREFUL when accepting bounties, it takes more tickets the bigger level difference there is between you and your target, UNLESS the target is a higher level then you.

4) Where I'm at with knowledge of bounty hunting.

4.1) Gear

For a good attack, there are different stats needed. first your attack needs higher then your targets defense to hit them. Second your damage needs higher then their armor and hp combined for a successful 1 hit kill. It is also wise to have your armor and hp combined higher then their damage.

4.2) Buffs
Buffs affect this GREATLY, sometimes the target will have defensive buffs on. here is how to defeat them.

Last Ditch---This one will restore 20% of their health allowing them to get in a attack if they have high damage, that's why you will want to have a semi defensive set in armor.

Deflect----- This cannot be stopped. Once deflected you can't attack for two minuets but you don't loose stamina

Wither----- Actually a offense buff, it will lower your defense, even the playing field with a wither yourself.

I will add more in later

Q---How do i tell if the bounty was accepted?

A--- I learned this from shellsagar, sometimes in a bounty after they have been attacked they will not have a 5 or a 0 at the end of their experience yet to loose. For example: Jimbob is on the bounty board and he has 3,850,811 experience he can loose. He has an 11 at the end of the experience left, meaning he was attacked. If he had 3,850,815 XP left to loose, he mos likely was not attacked yet.

All advice is welcomed as I said above, and thank you for reading.

Have a great day!

Actually, it is if the remaining xp ends with x50 (3,850,850 XP remaining)

Not a guarantee, for the remaining XP seems to cycle back there ever third to fourth hit. But checking post time and XP helps quite a bit.

Another thing to add, many players will PM stating the bounty has already been taken. 9 out of 10 times If find this to be BS

Decent start for a newbie guide
