So how about 101 stam hits are the pvp only attack. Wouldn't this be easier to program? Also instead of weekly unknown ending of the pvp contest why not designate a set value for the contest such as 6565-10000 stam(Nice sink to win). Would this not further alienate the mult. acct. and also help catch more that make ingame transfers for the stam. Probably gonna get flamed but thought id give it a shot.:")

i still think that if we reset only the players who are on the ladder it will solve many issues

1 we won't have the multi farming multie that we are seeing, because when the ladder resets the accounts they are farming from won't have any more pvp points to spread, issue solved, or at least helped.

2 we won't have non pvpers being farmed at the reset of every ladder

3 we will have a ladder that truely represents the dominant pvp players

4 PVP players who did not make the ladder will be more of a target when the ladder resets further creating a ladder representitive of what it is supposed to be now.

i like the idea of the brackets, i think that there should not be any changes to how pvp/ bounties work at this time, ie no rating only attacks. if the ladder gets reset as i propose, think this will be a moot point anyway

points should be transfered on bounties, but maybe a percentage increase to those within your brackets? a ladder that only wipes out the previous week's winners might also enable you to put no cap on the minimum level that you can participate in the ladder, but still think a bracket that starts at level 50 or higher would be best


edited to add,, yes, leave pvp rating transfered for losses, and defending on the bounty board. this is a must...



ok if you dont reset the people who choose not to PVP for that week then what are you going to do about all the rating that just vanishes every week never to be seen again?? it would be less and less every week.. and what about someone like me, i do a bit of everything i pvp i have done a lil titan hunting i level ect ect. what if i get smacked a few time so that my rating is down this week while i am saving stam to get a few levels in then i am at a distinct disadvantage next week when i decide to PVP and maybe want to see if i can make the ladder. so no i dont agree here reset everyone every time otherwise is just plain out unfair to someone that is not pvping that particular week for any reason they might have

it doesn't take all that much effort if you are down 1 week to gain yourself some pvp, just remember there will be people in your range with 1100 1200 plus when the ladder resets to gain yourself the points back in a hurry. i wouldn't worry about it, and don;t see it as an issue

so putting hordes of people at a distinct disadvantage is not an issue?? just because they might enjoy many facets of the game?? and yeah might be 1 week or might be a month. if i get antsy and decide to kill enough titans so my guild can get a shiny Epic (didnt mean to put rp lol) then that could easily turn into a couple weeks or so if i dont have a couple *good* titan hunts. ether way i cant look at that idea in any way that i can agree with. no offense just the logic i am looking at it does not work for me

You know, it's interesting to note that of the fifty people on the ladder right now,

20 under 100
10 level 100+
11 level 200+
2 level 300+
2 level 400+
2 over 500+
2 over 600+
none level 700+
none level 800+
none level 900+
1 level 1000+

Of the 20 players under level 100 considered "dominant", over half are below level 50. Most have joined FS within the last 90 days, and many within the last month.

This is 'dominant' PvP? Please. 80% of the ladder hasn't even cleared morukan, much less xinderoth. In other words, 80% of the ladder exists in less than 20% of the game content. Half of it exists in less than 10% of it.

This just shows two things: one, multis are still a massive problem, and two, there's not enough PvP rating to go around up top.


yes multi's are a problem ,but that is not the only reason there are several reasons.
as for there not being enough rating to go around at the higher levels maybe the higher levels should stop relying on the BB for rating ,and start doing more 100stams or are they just scared to put their precious exp at risk.

higher levels = less players..and as you said...many dont pvp hence care about xp.. Id hit anyone...doesnt bother me a bit..but when I 100 stam someone..and gain 44 rating...only to be posted...cleared by anyone offline...and lose 50? something doesnt add up ( and my rating isnt even high... Oo .... of the few players who i know who PvP up here? NONE of them care about xp...


You wouldnt be so happy if you had few targets ;) we need to find a compromise and solution..not bicker
