They must be under staffed... no other excuse would be reasonable.
The person who codes is the same person who makes these kinds of decision. No matter how large the staff, its the role of deciding on changes that will always be understaffed.

Pathetic! I spent 800 stam, and got myself on the ladder all be it only the 2nd to last place, than.........................bam someone actually hit me back which I do like.

At least you have people in range who you can hit to get on this so called ladder lol... Here's hoping for a fix on friday...

Very true, I had a lot of fun hitting though. Every person I hit was online and so far not bounties although they will come soon enough. Fix tomorrow would be awesome!

U have made the game of pvp a better place..
what's the next update? I can't wait till u force me to leave the game lol. :x
Was hoping u'd suspend the ladder after the reset but u let it be...denying us an opportunity again. :|

I have been sending tickets about this issue since they released pvp ladder...!termed players got tokens. Again. And no change. again.

New player joins game....gets 100 stammed by farmers/clones etc....being new he/she will have no idea of items ..stats etc..thinks the game is not good..leave the game.
Old players (pvp'rs) get sick....leave the game.
Finally, HCS launches new games closing FS. :idea:

I am not surprised... PvP ladder and rating has been a joke for a very long time.. and apparently the cows must think so too... Or it would have been at least suspended or a temp fix put in place by now.... It took a long long time for the cows to fix xp loss then have it go both ways .. I wonder how long until the ladder is open for any level to compete fairly... Meh :?
I guess they could say this is a PvP game again to keep all PvP'ers happy for a few weeks even though it is clearly not a PvP game :wink:

To me that says that they have already decided what they are going to do, so,
why not put the info up for the weekend so the player base had time to think it over and give feedback?
Well, because they want to do it first, think about it later.
Thats how they messed it up in the first place, so I for one am not expecting too much of a fix from this update either. And now after they will focus on the levelling, so we might aswell say bye-bye to the PvP this game even remotely has had.

ok, now let us discuss fixes.
first: honor and gloat have to go. this will be explained further with my idea on rating exchange.
second: divide up the levels into brackets all ya want, lower levels will always have more targets. I thought of a way to equal the amount of targets for the higher levels, and it not necessary to increase higher level pvp limits. you lower the lower level limits. instead of using levels as the basis for the cut-off, use % of players. run a program tallying every player in FS to get %'s of levels. Take the highest % level and use that as a baseline. If level 18 have the most targets, their range is 1. they can only attack level 18's. if level 18's constitute 13% of the players, a level 700 should be able to hit the 13% of players around them. if 13% adds up to 40 level down, and 300 levels up, it should still be 13%. it would be better if you could go 6.5% down, and 6.5% up, but it can always be tweaked. Maybe run the check every week, or every ladder reset, etc. I know that you level range may change every week, but at least it would be fair.
third: rating exchange. it gets changed to 1 point per 10 stamina. same for everyone. no more getting more for hitting someone with a higher rating. you get points for what you put into it. if you have 700 stamina everyday, and win every fight, you will come out with 70 points daily. this system rewards those can continuous use the stamina for pvp. it will also stop the multis from taking advantage of ratings and winning everything. a 100 stam hit brings 10 points(1 per 10 stam). Real pvp people will not care if they are #1 with a 1300 rating, or a 2500 rating.
feel free to tweak, add, take away from my ideas. I know I do not pvp, but I put some thought into this because(and to be totally honest), i want this fixed just so that I do not have to read about all the issues in the forums. I realize cows will never be able to make everyone happy, but this new pvp system has even irritated me, and I am fairly tolerant. Thanks for taking the time to read this, and sorry if it was too long.

Whenever a fix comes in place, an automatic reset SHOULD NOT give low level multies yet more free tokens.

Good ideas methinks. Personally I am not sure about gloat and honour going, but that's another discussion altogether - and it would seem enough people feel strongly enough about them that *something* should be done.
The other two ideas look great at first appraisal.
