The only method i see is keep taking the relic back until one side just gets fed up and leaves it alone or forget about that relic(not like it has your name printed over it) and move onto to another one(preferrably one you can defend better), theres many other relics out there..Taking a relic thirty plus times, and leaving no method for retaliation or defense is a major issue.

GvG with SB250 during the 'offenders' hunts, especially if they're using your relics to boost said hunt is a highly effective means of retaliation. It's also a 'guild' aspect, unlike 100 stamming direct pvp.
The other guild in this instance isn't interested in empowering.
And by my understanding, any combat interaction between the two guilds in question is currently verboten. Including GvG. Perhaps a member of WaL's leadership could clarify if they understand the situation different.
Above and beyond all that, it still has no real impact, because once again, there's never been any public statement by any member of HCS that hourly hits or random hits or hits because your face was ugly were prohibited. This is a completely and totally unexpected paradigm shift in how the game has been run up to this time.

Okay, so first off, if I'm in a 5 man guild with 3 or 4 persistent high level players, I can take any relic given time. And if my only goal is to jack it, it doesn't matter if the other guild - who wants to empower it - takes it back.
Second off, there is no safe relic in this game. I could make a guild today with 4 or 5 other players and as long as one of us could reach the relic we could take it, bar none. And there would be not a thing any of the guilds we were HARASSING (using the leveler's perspective on the term) could do about it, based on the most recent response by the developers.

MAD has been the thing that kept the genie in the bottle up till now.
So for a second, realize that in this situation one side doesn't mind it if every relic in the game got taken in the next hour, and the hour after that, ad nausea.

That not true at all, any actions that go to the point of ruining someone elses enjoyment of the game or making FS practically unplayable have always incited intervention from HCS. Does noone here remember the TWP/FFS war? :S
