lol, when it costs me a fortune of fsp for potions to "attempt" a win? ie: go kamikaze lol meh... gear score changes and relics make a big difference in different ranges...sure I beat players( in the 100 level range)..when buffs run out etc..or depends on a lucky buff kick... my point is this separates the ranges better in 50 level brackets, if not its king of the hill with the higher gear score ruling,( not every 100 levels have only 1 or two sets of domiant pvp gear) can i beat them? yes. consistently? nope. won't happen. Not when more and more end of scale players realize they can dominate sheerly by gear score and relics ;)

combat pit takes care of all these issues if made correctly.

Combat pit for dominance and tokens. PVP in game back to where it was PRE-tokens.

5,2,1,1,1 is 100% messed up as its not in line with latest update.

100 or 50 levels for "gear fairness"? Depends a bit on the levels I guess, would have to identify the "poor-mans-OP-gear-list" first. Many deaths head set in circulation even if expensive in AH, so 450 beats 449 easily but 450 v s 540 is pretty even steven gear-wise. 779 v s 700 no big match. and so forth.

And I share you loss, grav. no fun in my range either.

That way for example, I don't get hit by someone who doesn't know how to PvP and get 50 rating, boom I am about 1/2 up the ladder, WTF? I get barraged with attacks until the reset because I manage to keep a positive rating with people that don't know how to kill me attack me...


What do you consider someone who doesn't know how to PvP? Someone who loses because of LD? Someone who loses because of First Strike or Dodge? Some of us can't exactly set up guaranteed wins. FallenSword is a game of chance. Every attack is just another dice roll. You can put the odds in your favor but it's still a dice roll.

I know I'll never place in my band(partially because it always resets while I'm asleep) but I still like to see what the highest place I can get to is and that involves attacking into low odds.

It will even out over time. At the rate the tokens are being earned the prices on the gear will drop and soon it will only be those who want it for what it is, instead of the profit.

In order to make this current PvP environment fair we need to ELIMINATE this BS about not losing experience unless you are within 10 levels. This gives players out of the 10 level range a significant advantage over you in PvP as they can bounty you every time you attack them and you can do NOTHING to punish them for their actions. 100 stamming them does not take ANY experience so what do they have to fear.

If he can punish me by sending me to the BB and taking my experience, I should be able to take his as well by attacking him repeatedly for his crimes. The alternative is to NEVER attack anyone out of the 10 level range... this is not a good alternative.

PLEASE CHANGE THIS!!

Listen, it just makes sense. If I can attack someone, I should be able to mug them for their gold and experience loss regardless of what their level is (unless its in a GvG conflict).

I see our point on this page, by we need to narbs gone.
If you had to have 1,100 rating+ to be on the ladder,
and you had to be on the ladder to hit people to take their exp away
And you had to be on the ladder to hit people on the ladder
And once you are on the ladder you can only attack people on the ladder


Then this might work and get the real PvPers in the running, not stupids or levelers getting hit by stupids.

I actually agree with you that xp needs to be taken for any attack. I just don't agree on the reason. Any attack already can and should be able to be bountied and the player can be dropped 5 or at the minimum 20% of a level. Players are attacking outside the +/- 10 level xp taking level range and trading prestige every 3 days for a measly 10 stam cost instead of earning it. Previously this was finally fixed with xp being taken above and below your range only to be broken again when the bands were added. Keep the small bands at levels below 4-500 and allow 100 level bands above those levels. The other solution would be to allow Prestige to only be taken from inside your +/- 10 level range and the BB but that would be overly harsh for higher levels that don't have as many targets compared to the rest and you can still be bountied for any attack.

I also don't understand why gold can no longer be taken on a bounty, either direction. That as well as stopping gold theft from anywhere in your band. It's enough that a player can dump gold easily, xp lock and now even opt out for a price but this is getting painfully restrictive. Take the handcuffs off those that want to play thief. It's apart of two enhancements for God's sake...

4. i do not like that 50 levels bracket. i dont want to hurt anyone for gaining tokens. but now it is really difficult to find someone to hit without xp lost. This 50 level bracket is a MUST for lev 100-400 but up to this levels it is just a problem. (no idea about lev 700+)


4. The summury of my 10 pvp days:
4.1. People dont have any respect to others, even a little
4.2. When u sleep u will die :D
4.3. Almost noone will hit u when u online if they know u have game knowledge. They prefer to wait till u sleep and your buffs end then they will suck all your points with 5-6 100 stam hits, do not ask them anything since they will not understand what you are talking about :)
4.4. There are still some great players out there

Here is my idea for a fix.

After level 400 have the ladders be 100 rather then 50 levels.

Bring back gold stealing to anyone you hit.

You HAVE to have 1,100 rating+ to be on the ladder.

When you are on the ladder and hit someone else no matter what level the looser looses exp.

You HAVE to be on the ladder to hit people on the ladder

And once you are on the ladder you can only attack people on the ladder making it a constant fight to be on the ladder.

I also like the 50 level band, kinda unfair when I can kill level 100's, and they can't even get 1 hit on me

Not a punishment, but more of a challenge, it would be alot harder and more intense if you were fighting for the ability to wear your gear.

It's called PvP, xp loss is part of and always has been a part of PvP. Its not punishment when its always been there since the beginning ;)

It's called PvP, xp loss is part of and always has been a part of PvP. Its not punishment when its always been there since the beginning ;)



Then, who can tolerate more xp loss s/he will be winner, current system much much better then this. :roll:

Here is my honest oppunions about all this thread *

1. HCS wants to see more people in pvp, they are trying to stop cheating for token rewards. And they did a great update about that.
2. Almost all old pvp players wants old system since they are organised well and they were good in that job. I thing if things changed to old system there will not be even 5 players more then 1.000 points in most of brackets.So all rewards will be shared by old pvpers.
3. Players like me wants to do something in this game. Arena not working for now (it is the funniest part of the game for me), hunting is just a torture, u cant fight for a relic, but i can spend my time with doing pvp with new rules. And i liked it very much.
4. I do not see any reason to hurt someone for any reward (except wars)
