Actually I started with photoshop around 3yrs ago at school and been trying ever since.. Guess it just isn't for me.
Regardless, everything else I said still applies. You've been patient for three years, keep trying for another three!
Oh, and it doesn't hurt to try different methods of learning and graphic making. For me personally, I can't follow a sig tut even if my life depended on it! I just simply like to throw the render down and start doing a smudge here and there and scanning my ridiculous amount of c4ds. Eventually I might figure something out. If not, I save it and leave it for another day.
So try to find your way of learning. It can be different for everyone
But, if you've really decided to leave, then do visit time and again. It's nice to see old faces around here.
+1 ive looked at soo many tuts and cant understand a damn thing, just go with it see how it feels, if it doesnt feel right walk away a bit and get a fresh start, its all on how u feel comfotable, once u find ur comfort zone and master that then keep expanding
