sudeen rotation of arena prices?

I ask it because if the main problem is value ot items, it doesnt matter how much you rotate them, unless you alwasy release new sets in Arena, prices will always go down sooner or later, and there will be always the same problem (also releasing more and more set in arena would greatly affect all other aspects of the game, and number of in game sets is already high).
With gold only prizes, it would act as a perfect gold sink and best players would still make profit out of it. (i understand that there wouldnt be anymore tournaments items worth 50-100 fsp, but all tournament would give a little profit keeping arena fast).
It would also leave more space to new sets released via scavenging, LE event etc.

Question: if Arena had only Gold tournaments, would it fill faster, and would it work?
Arenas with a small gold prize and small entry fee fill up fairly quickly, but the bigger ones are a lot slower. Having only gold arenas would make it very difficult to make a profit in the arena which would mean less participation.
Decent potions are one answer to the problem of prizes losing value, also components for good sets keep a reasonable value, e.g. yojimbos, acherons, chumanas, so these should always be in the arena IMO.
There needs to be some sort of a decent reward with arenas, other than the medals.. otherwise there would be no light at the end of the tunnel when you're going through a period of incredibly bad luck. Arenas can be quite frustrating at times, my worst case recently was losing a final for a serpent skull because I had a 2% miss with a piercing strike vs an armor guy.
Some days it feels like the same players get all the luck - maybe it uses the same 'random' number generator as scavenging.

i was asking cause ive the feeling that with high diffence in the rewards, best rewarded tournament will always fill faster, with all the other tournament blocking the overall arena speed, while with gold only arenas, you win always the same % of what you risk.
Introducing potions maybe could work, but it would take away the chance of improving inventing and scavenging and AH (that are more "potions focused").
As for sets lihe yojimbons and acherons keeping their value, a higher speed in arena wouldn't make prices decrease faster?
Maybe gold only, increasing prices to 80/85% of the total entry (and avoiding to high entry fees, that i suppose slow down arena speed) could solve the problem. Im afraid that if the only problem to solve is high profit, arena would never be fixed.

Yep, I agree with most of that. Fortunately there's still a LOT of room for the price of the acherons components to go down in price, it wouldn't hurt for the likes of yojimbos and chumanas items to be around for a while too.
HCS could successfully add a variety of better potions to arena and still have lots of decent types of potions leftover for inventing and scavenging, especially with more skills coming into the game and the option of having new potions with higher skill levels to what's currently available.

If I had a setup and moves I knew I could almost certainly win with, yes.Quick Poll: Would you rather enter an arena for a Potion of Luck level 200 for a 10K entry fee and have a 1 in 8 chance of winning it... OR... buy it from the Potion Bazaar right now for just 4K?? Anyone? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller.....Bueller....Bueller..... ??????? :?: :?: :?:
It isn't just about the award and cost to enter imo though, I would also like some nice arena wins racked up if I had the BP space/know how.
