I like the idea, Im no coder but ill suggest it to the devs and see what they think, and how they would go about doing it if they like it too.

the only way this will be a good idea is when you take into consideration that buffs will only be driven down in price and if players can sell offline all they need to do is sell the lowest and come back in a few days and bank the gold... this is a bad idea unless you make it where the player has to be online or else the buff economy will go down alot and levelers may like this but in turn less people will sell buffs... this will just be another update that makes this game easier for some but kills an age old market of gameplay... for example pvp, all the greatness of pvp is dead for a newer system and alot of people dont like it... i would hate to see buffs killed in this manor and i hope people agree... maybe just a buff finder would be good but not a buff buyer. that is a step too far
I agree that it might drive down the price, but in that case people would stop buffing. I personally think that it would even out just like everything else. The Market Place usually stays around the same price, and so do items in the Auction House. HCS could also put a minimum price, meaning you could not go any lower. And if you do want lower then you would have to do it the old fashion way, and hunting for it. That is what people do in the auction when they don't want that price. You go asking around to see if someone will sell it lower. The point in having this is to make getting buffs easier and faster, instead of wasting your time looking for a specific buff, while your other buffs are running out.

I think this would just end up with one person monopolizing the buffing market at any given time. Buffing would be majorly competitive. Easy for those buying but unfair to those selling.
How would it be unfair? You need to provide more information if you're going to enter a debate.

Those who have a ton of stam could just click on every single person who wants a particular buff. Thus, it would turn this whole thing into an overly competitive (time wise) market. It would eliminate the purpose of the Shout Box nearly entirely as well.
Everyone knows that an economy cannot function properly if there is no competition and if there is perfect competition, no one would want to participate. There would be no real profit incentive that way.

It is impossible to buff everyone, it does not matter how much stamina you have. You could only gain so much stamina per hour, yet there are tons of people who hunt every hour. There would be plenty of competition, just like every aspect of the game.

Sorry, bad idea. Building relationships with buffers is one of the few ways people who do not PvP ever meet people outside their own guild. I don't want that eliminated: this game is mainly fun because of the people you meet. Also, it eliminates "pack" discounts.
If you want to build a relationship then post a message in the FsBox, that is what some people do. Not all buffers are willing to chat with every client. What if your buffer doesn't want to talk to you, but he wants to make sure you come back for more, so he continues the conversation even if he is annoyed with you. If you want a place to meet people then why don't you request HCS add a meeting/dating area?

It doesn't have to be everyone. Just at a particular moment in time. It's no different than any of the other aspects of the game that certain players dominate. The only difference is that more people buff than do any of the other activities, other than hunt.

ideally I would like to see HCS see add an automated buffing system where a player buys the buff through some system and the player buffing will automatically send out those buffs at a previously set price

 You know how in FsHelper there is a section that says Find Buffs, why not add a section that says buy buffs. This would be a section where the people who want buffs go and list the buffs they want and the price they are willing to pay, and the people selling the buffs go and click on the buffs they are willing to sell at that price. You could even make it confidential like the Marketplace and charge gold for each player or buff listed. Its a gold sink and stamina sink for those willing to buff fast, gold gain or fsp gain for those players. And quick and easy saving time for when you are hunting and don't have time to look for buffs. It benefits everyone, at least I think it does. Not sure how easy or hard it is to implement though, lol.
It is an interesting idea.
The idea can work with certain rules in place, like the ones below:
1. Buffer posting the buffs for sale must pay the LISTING FEE per buff
2. Gold gained from sales SHOULD NOT go to bank
3. To encourage active buffers, listing time should be less than 12 hours.

How can this idea be critisized by anyone, buffing, like everything else, is a persons choice just as buying those buffs would be. There can be no monopoly when the buffers set their own prices and have control over what they will let them go for. If someone sells low and you want to sell lower, thats your choice, as it's your stamina. Buff packs etc, theres the fsbox and the homepage for that and if the offer is decent enough, as with any sales, word of mouth will take care of the rest. To vote against something simply to create discord serves no purpose whatsoever.
Well said dougmines, well said

This is a relational game, anything taking away from that I greatly deplore, even though buffrequests don't always mean more than 'xx and yy please, thanks', there's the occasional helping out of people with buffs they really need, rather than what they're asking for, explaining differences in CA depending on doublers used, rather than what the FSH says they need, etc etc.
As I see this, explained by the 'need to be immediately buffed whenever I want', I presume I'd set up a request for xx buffs at yy price, come back in the evening when I want to go hunting, click on my huntgear, click on my buffrequest page paying out minimal price to someone who's away off to the moon for a month, hammer out some 12345678's, (why not also sent gold to someone who's away as well with goldprotection running, getting automatic fsp back) and run off again.
I can understand sometimes getting buffs can be a little irritating, but surely with the Find Buffs feature, the buffsites like the Fallen Empire one, the Shoutbox, the FS-box, Guildmates, Guildbuffers, and above all a developing of ingame RELATIONS, a buffservice like you are asking for does not look very beneficial to this type of game.

I agree that might work, but I was hoping it would work the other way, where the people post what they want, and then the buffers have to sell to them. That way not everyone would go to just one buffer. It should work similar to the Market Place/Auction House format. Simple yet functional.

I don't like any idea of buffs being able to be sold without the buffer being online. Lot of inactive people just setting up buffshops while offline for long periods of time, with gold going into their banks, doesn't sound like any type of playing in an active way, and activity is already down.

I am pretty sure I mentioned that the people who want buffs list the buffs they want. "This would be a section where the people who want buffs go and list the buffs they want and the price they are willing to pay, and the people selling the buffs go and click on the buffs they are willing to sell at that price." This way the buffers would be online when they lose there stamina and gain the gold. Also I have asked plenty of times for buffs from certain people since they listed in the shout box that they are selling and I get no response even though I waited for a really good time for them. And then I have to ask another and another, while my stamina is overflowing and my other buffs are running out of time.

Lawdog made mention that it would eliminate the personal interaction between buffer and buffy, this is also a BIG part of the game, imo. I have not buffed myself with leveling buffs for 300 or more levels. And I always try to make conversation with the buffer. Making friends with quite a few of them.
Tangtop mentioned sustain. This is a big thing for quite a few players. Anyone with over 10k or 15k stam to burn will be seriously miffed if they are buffed by an unextended player with low sustain and no mage tower to back it. Can the system be made so that it takes these factors into consideration?
Someone mentioned packs too. This is also a big deal for me. I almost always buy a competitively priced pack from either a buffer I know, or someone advertising on the shoutbox or fsbox. Then I flush out the rest of my needs with the best deal I can get on the high level ones- and those are usually a pack as well.
