Absolutely NO! We already see and here many people complaining about being targeted as many are farmed for rating. Making smaller bands would put the target even larger on the backs of players as the available list to be hit would be even smaller. It would seem that you simply can't compete at the level your at and want an easy win handed to you. Level up to be more competitive, problem solved.

I personally like this idea, however I think many people will be opposed to it because your trying to encourage more pvp
i think it would have the opposite effect. with all these new sets coming left and right it makes it harder to pvp. if they were to do this it would actually make some people happy and encourage it more. another way to encourage pvp is if thhey left the ladder as is and made all attacks take gold and exp. there would be alot of people bountied and people would be trying for their medal. now lets get back on topic. this idea would be good but they should make all attacks take exp and gold if they do this. it would increase pvp
edit: when i said it would have the opposite effect i meant it would make alot of people happy because the pvp system is bad enough as it is. plus theres not much pvp anymore. i used to get hit every day about a year ago and now im getting hit once every other week(excluding conflicts)

I think that it should be 25 lvls, but i think it should be that the same persons can't be in the top three more than twice in every 5 resets. plus, i think there should be a 5-24 ladder.
no they shouldnt do that because there would be those level 5's with no more than 30 atk/def/arm/dmg then there would be those level 20's with more than 80/atk/def/arm/dmg. see any problem with this?

I agree with you completely.The ladder is good as it is-as sad before-only thing that is missing is XP and gold loss for everyone...
And yes,the rewards should stay.
why not keep rewards? cuz it drives people "crazy"... makes no sense. reward for pvping. they reward for leveling, hence newer buffs and more gold gain from critters when you level.
and if you make gold loss for everyone... well, that would be the day i have some real fun

but hcs could change...like:
1st place=3tokens
2nd=2tokens
3rd=1tokenthat would be better

The tokens to ladder ratio is pretty good right now, it takes 8 ladder wins (likely 1000's of stam each) to invent a Helhearts set... or a whole lot of lower finishes. I PvP'd for more than two weeks to get the 40 tokens to make a Helhearts set.
And as more pvp sets get into the game, the LE items needed to invent PvP items get rarer, so there are merchanting opportunities on both sides - no need to rush more tokens into the game.
The easy way to really improve it in the existing system would be to widen the hour range of resets or make the reset a truly random time (not on the xx:30 as it is now). The more predictable the reset is... the less like true dominance it is.
Again, take my opinion with a grain of salt... I'm not exactly a pvp'er, I just acted like one for ladder purposes only and I still have the black eye from Cade...
