What does everyone think?

Since taking a bounty on someone in your bracket takes PvP Rating, I was thinking that if you lose a fight to someone on the bounty board while clearing someone in your bracket you might lose experience too.

There is already little reward from completing bounties plus costs to take them and risk that a bounty hunter will be bountied in turn. Do they really need more setbacks?

I voted yes.

I would like to see xp loss taken one step further. If someone loses clearing a bounty on another in their band or in a 'lower band' they should lose xp.

BG stated previously that players' overwhelmingly didn't want xp loss for the BHer, and I agree to a point. Taking bountys of players much higher than you is difficult. Taking them the same level or lower I believe losses should incur xp loss.

I'm of the school that thinks ALL attacks should take/lose xp, gold and rating(only within a band). I understand the sentiment that 2%s occur and that taking a bounty many 100s of levels higher is challenging. The BHer risks being bountied himself. However, I believe that I should be punished by xp and gold loss if I lose to a player in my own band(include rating loss) or lower.

Right as I type this I have someone that is trying to farm rating from me by taking my bounty. Since I was much higher rating then him every hit he loses he loses 1 rating but ever hit he wins he gets 6-12 rating. So the over all effect is him pummeling me with SB since:

04:02 09/Feb/2011 XXXXX has just accepted to undertake the bounty which was placed upon you by XXXXX!

and in the end he will actually increase his rating. Yes it's been 4 hours.

For the love of god YES. I think if your getting 100 stammed off the BB and your losing a ton of xp, then in turn its only fair that they lose xp as well.

With regard to rating transfer, there is a large inequity between players that have much different ratings. Since there is a floor I believe there should be a ceiling as well. Whatever can be taken is also the same amount that could be taken. That's how I see it.

No! Absolutely not! The bounty board is there for punishment for the players that dont want to hit back themselves. Bounty hunters should never be punished for doing their job!!!

bounty hunt is pvp and 10 stam loss doesnt make u loss much xp anyway why should higher lvl be punished because they earn their lvl? they should b hard to beat...with all the buffs out its not hard for someone to beat a player 100s of lvls higher anyone who has done pvp knows this...ive been beaten by person 100s lvls lower...ive seen a lvl 15 guy beat a 700...with all buffs out anythings possible...it might deter some from bounty hunt but i think alot would still do it and would make some think before they start taking a bounty on someone

+1

the bounty board is a punishment system,, if xp loss happened to the hunter it would destroy the Board as no one would attempt to clear the higher levels for fear of losing levels themselves.
this would allow the higher level free reign to hit whoever they want repeatedly because no one would clear them.

and if that was so, why do 'pvpers' have in their bios i will only hit you for ladder points and not xp loss.
if some so called pvpers didnt fear losing levels or xp why arent they pushing for xp loss across the whole 50level range.

I personally think Rating transfer should not happen while on the Bounty board. However, I think that XP loss should only be taken from the person on the Board. It is suppose to be a recourse to PvP afterall.
