I thought of making a matching Set of Avi and Sig.... Well, they don't match 100%, but.... Atleast they're similar XD HAHAHAHHA

the borders take away from the images - that is my first impression. Try just a black border instead of the coloring.
text on the sig, the color isn't quite doing it for me the outer glow on a light color just doesn't seem right. The colors on the sig are overbright, even on my dingier monitor.

I think part of the problem here is trying to do too much with a stock I don't particularly like (sorry, but that is my opinion)

You want your focus to be the focus and overall, my eyes are being drawn to the borders and to the bright background on the signature.

the black border is an improvement - the sig is still jarringly bright, perhaps different c4d's or something could be used. text can be tricky - the sig right now its better than before but still not there.

How about rules of 3rds, has anyone gone over that with you?

ok rule of 3rds

think of each piece as you start it and work on it as having a tic-tac-toe board over it. dividing it into quadrants. the intersections of lines are places where you have dynamic flow. It helps you build. Actually. How about I put something together to show you how this works. I'll post it up in steps and explain how I went about it.

LOL I felt the same way the first couple of times I put pieces up for CnC. The ones that have responded are just trying to help. Try doing some tutorial. That's what I've been doing and I hope I'm getting a little better. Here are some of my recent pieces.
