Alright, I'll try to keep this short, sweet, and to the point. I've seen a bunch of threads (particularly battle threads) where once the battle is over, people ask for the sigs made. That's pretty rude imo. Sometimes people don't want to give it away, so don't ask for it, it's annoying the hell outta me.

Thanks.

Whats wrong with freebies? I'm not in this for the fsp, I just like making graphics, it's fun. If you like the person and think they deserve it, why not give it to them?

I just don't see why if an Avatarist doesn't want to give out his sig for free, why doesn't he just say so. The battles consist of fun competition and learning new techniques. So technically ur making a freebie to learn. In my perspective if I didn't want to give away my piece for free I would politely say so

Nothing against freebies man, and I don't even use FSPs. And if you're fine with them, okay. But when random people who just pop in to get a free sig, that's when it's annoying. Therefore making them unworthy.

 We shouldn't have to specifically state every time before a battle; I DON'T WANNA GIVE TEH SIGGY AWAIIIII!

So if you really must, PM them. Plus, your argument is illogical. You're not making a freebie to learn. You're making the piece to learn, then someone randomly asks for it. That's just downright rude.

Artwork shouldnt be made solely for the purpose of selling it. I have no problem with someone asking for it, even if its totally random. Unless you got into art to make a profit, I dont really see why this bothers you so much. If you plan to sell it, just tell them that if they ask for it.

Hehe, i get your point godblade, just asking for it point blank is a bit rude, but asking if your going to sell it at an auction or smthing is okay imo.

and by the way signatures were not at first made for selling :)

Because signatures used to be
