The stamina cost looks fine to me - there is no rule that says every buff cast has to be sold for a profit!

Yes but not one person over level 1000 is going to be selling them cheap, the new buffs should be accessible to all, not to people who can spend high amounts to buy them

How do you know every person above 1000 won't sell them cheap only because you won't?

That's not really the point. Actually, knowing about Duelist and using this buff effectively could give a huge advantage to a clued up player in PvP which is probably what it was intended to be. 10% is a lot of attack to be discounting, especially with the +-50 attack/defence dynamic.

Again, no one has ever bothered with it though, not really worth having it's own dedicated skill, no ones gonna buy it for 1.5-2 FSP

Because no one ever has in the past, it's assumptions, like your assumption that they will.

So, no more skill tree from this day on, huh?
Why don't we just remove skill tree from the game completely?

que?

Skill tree, the line connecting the skills, as if showing the skill evolving into stronger one.
I like the concept of "mastering" the root skill as a mandatory requirement, before you can learn the higher skill on the same tree/line/whatev.
Eg: We must spend 10 points in Rage before we could learn Fury.

Hoof , i activiated coord attack and balanced def on me ... nothing increased on stats ... or its not showing on stats ??
shouldnt this work like KE?

They will show on your stats.

Remember:

For Balanced Attack/Defense, ALL your equipped items must be the same level.

For Coordinated Attack/Defense, ALL your equipped items must be part of a set (they don't all have to be part of the same set however).

Hoof check my profile in game ! nothing increased on stats from this buff !

Ok well, not all your items are the same level so you are only the Coordinated Attack buff is affecting your stats.

Figured that's what you mean.

Yeah, I'm surprised they don't have those as well.

Or have a specific use for duelist, you know, outside hunting creatures :) (the guilds who fight for GvG's will be after this, as will certain ladder players)

What would they charge if they cost 15 stamina? I'd guess exactly the same amount until more players get there to join them and the market gets more competitive.

Nice!! not only have you introduced new skills but you have improved the artwork on the offensive level 1 to 150 icons. They look good. Does this mean that there are more icon artwork upgrades to come in the future? :)

FORN is going to be updating the older Defense and Special icons soon :)

I beg to differ. Many EOC players have not charged an arm and a leg for new buffs. You haven't always been there. Besides what about players that buff their guildmates? Not ALL buffs have to do with PvE! You'll make your earnings selling the new stuff. Don't go manic on us...

These new buffs look awesome Hoof. I'm sure there will be a few hitches but what is one to expect, perfection? LOL

Would be nice to see 'anti deflect' as a lower level buff maybe, more in line with where deflect is perhaps.

Ahah - thats a bit misleading then - I read it as a 9 piece set (and there's not exactly a plethora of those around). So, given that the elemental weapons have Elite Hunter, do they class as a set in their own right ? :) - if so, this could be a very nice buff :). Otherwise, will have to hunt around for alternatives (of which I'm sure there are some, of course ...)

I wouldn't[/quote]

The irony in this is... whether its 25 or 30 stam for these buffs you level 1000's will still be charging 2 fsps per buff. So id keep it at 30 stam.

You say you wouldnt do this Andy... However you are already charging 1.5 fsps for the 900 buffs. Seeing as they only cost 25 stam... that already factors in considerable profits (75K+ a buff depending on the market).

The majority of people selling buffs these days "lose" money on this valuing to buffs. So its absolutely absurd to sugguest that any level 1000 would be selling buffs cheap even if they were 15 stam.
